Following that, it is expected to fuse helium for some 5 or 6 bn years, then cool for a few billion. We figure it will support life as we recognize it for the purpose of this conversation for some 3 billion years. This is not perpetual. The very Universe is not expected to be eternal. But just how long must it exist before you figure it effectively so according to our perspective.

@whackitov First of all let me explain a few facts about science, although am not sure if your delluded tiny brain is capable to understand it. 1- sun is not a perpetual machine. Enormus gravity in the centre causes fussion of atoms of hydrogen and releasing energy in the form of heat. @whackitov OK Einstein, I didn't realise you are living in another dimention, may be full of different laws of physics. 4 atoms of Hydrogen combine and produce 1 atom of Helium, this is a fact, 4gr Hydrogen = 2gr of Helium. As you see 2 gr is lost, so what happend to it ? It converted to energy. Time will come that entire Hydrogen is converted to Helium. In that time the mass of sun will be half of original mass but Helium is not a fuel and that is the end of sun.

Fusion defies thermodynamics and it's a multi-billion dollar undertaking by many countires, scientist, and engineers accross the world. They claim that a fully working fusion reactor could produce as much as 1000 times more energy then what the machine requires to operate. That's a direct violation of the laws of thermodynamics, yet whole countries are putting forth a huge amount of resources to get a fully functional reactor. The laws of thermodynamics are probably if you consider that.
There is real science in Fusion, it's the way our sun works and the reason it's still lighting our sky, otherwise it would have ran out of fuel a long time ago. Scientist and engineers (even the ones from Tokamak) are the ones saying that a fully functioning fusion reactor that can sustain fusion would output many many times more energy then what is consumed (up to 1000 times more). They're only trying to replicate something that already exists in nature. Are we to call them hoaxers and frauds?
I'm not disputing if this guy is a hoaxer, because he may very well be. All I'm arguing is that fusion is something that defies thermodynamics. There is real science proving this, and because of that we can't readily dismiss the idea that no machine could ever do so. Our science continues to grow and we learn new things all the time. To reject something like fusion is to reject our sun, all stars, and even life here on earth. Obviously the laws of thermodynamics need to be re-written.
Then why does fusion defy the the most important things about thermodynamics? That is that the output energy of any machine can not exceed the energy put in? Yet a fully functional fusion reactor would do that very thing to a degree that seems impossible. I have faith that one day, humanity will create such a machine. Come to think of it, a fully functinal commercial ready fusion reactor is already in the building stages and is expected to be operational in the next decade.

those parts can be gears, electronic components etc or atoms. the sun is a collection of atoms arranged in such a fashion as to produce a desired effect continually.
what this means is that perpetual motion, or perpetual effect is quite simply possible and real, it is proof right in front of your eyes, yet you accept that it is not possible??

@whackitov First of all let me explain a few facts about science, although am not sure if your delluded tiny brain is capable to understand it. 1- sun is not a perpetual machine. Enormus gravity in the centre causes fussion of atoms of hydrogen and releasing energy in the form of heat. (if you have any more systems of this kind name it and I will explain it to you). 2-a fixed(non changing field) can't generate energy. 3- these systems are working on same laws which defies them.

@whackitov OK Einstein, I didn't realise you are living in another dimention, may be full of different laws of physics. 4 atoms of Hydrogen combine and produce 1 atom of Helium, this is a fact, 4gr Hydrogen = 2gr of Helium. As you see 2 gr is lost, so what happend to it ? It converted to energy. Time will come that entire Hydrogen is converted to Helium. In that time the mass of sun will be half of original mass but Helium is not a fuel and that is the end of sun.

Ok, here's a question:
How long would we have the right to own a 'free energy' generator and generate our own power before 'They' decide to impose laws that would require metering and prohibitive taxation/regulation of the generated 'free energy'?
We should have the fundamental right to freely generate our own power from whatever home source including 'free energy' machines (if/when) without penalty.
The reality is that 'We' will not be able to establish any such right - especially in Europe.

so just because it hasent been invented means that its not possible. who says we have to follow the laws we can break them and create new technologies how do we know for shure that they are certain unless we cant break them. and how do we know that they are certain even if we cant break them mabey we just arent finding the right ideas or ways. go look at nikola tesla he was the same way noone would believe him even though later many of his ideas were proven correct

If you had any metallurgical science degree you'd know that some rare earth magnets can retain magnetism for 5 to 10 THOUSAND YEARS, name me one petrol or battery that can run that long.... Man you skeptics are ignorant, give one relevant point that cant be disregarded as retarded rhetoric in attempt to discredit a far superior source of energy.

@DemonDik The Free Energy principle doesn`t exist naturally on a human scale; it has to be realised by a human mind. The Laws of thermodynamics exist naturally on all scales. I do buy an abundance of naturally occuring constant forces at our disposal!

Wrong, it was only in EUROPE that people thought the Earth was flat - in Central, South America everyone knew so much about the world that they had the most accurate calendar ever devised - more accurate than our atomic time until 1976. (This great civilization was called the Maya.)

Fusion defies thermodynamics and it's a multi-billion dollar undertaking by many countires, scientist, and engineers accross the world. They claim that a fully working fusion reactor could produce as much as 1000 times more energy then what the machine requires to operate. That's a direct violation of the laws of thermodynamics, yet whole countries are putting forth a huge amount of resources to get a fully functional reactor. The laws of thermodynamics are probably if you consider that.

Face it, fusion defies thermodynamics ONLY in HOAX cases. It doesn't in tokamaks or other "hot fusion" experiments.
Listen to this dude. His talk is a far cry from science. And it takes quite a lot of scientific knowledge to master the subject.
I've also seen that dude spinning some magnet bearing contraption claiming it to be a permanent motor.
Nope, keep your cash away from there.

There is real science in Fusion, it's the way our sun works and the reason it's still lighting our sky, otherwise it would have ran out of fuel a long time ago. Scientist and engineers (even the ones from Tokamak) are the ones saying that a fully functioning fusion reactor that can sustain fusion would output many many times more energy then what is consumed (up to 1000 times more). They're only trying to replicate something that already exists in nature. Are we to call them hoaxers and frauds?

Thst dude is a far cry from anything scientific. I've seen him argue in favor of magnetic motors.
Here he sells shares of something he'll never achieve nor has intentions to.
I showed that vid to my lawyer.
Under Swiss laws, I could make lotsa money.
Just sue him for "incitation to fraudulent investment". In court, ask him to show any real scientifically correct work. He can't. Easy off.

I'm not disputing if this guy is a hoaxer, because he may very well be. All I'm arguing is that fusion is something that defies thermodynamics. There is real science proving this, and because of that we can't readily dismiss the idea that no machine could ever do so. Our science continues to grow and we learn new things all the time. To reject something like fusion is to reject our sun, all stars, and even life here on earth. Obviously the laws of thermodynamics need to be re-written.

Fusion is a *very* controversal subject especially outside of sun's temperature ranges.
Should it happen, then, it'll not defy any of thermodynamics because as in fission, mass and energy are related.
Not everyone achieves fusion when stating so.
It hsppens in hi energy physics labs with a mediocre efficiency. The way is long and folks with serious theory approach have their chances.
Frauds as well.
One UNKNOWN case remains Joseph Papp. Feynman could not debunk it 100% I'm puzzled.

Then why does fusion defy the the most important things about thermodynamics? That is that the output energy of any machine can not exceed the energy put in? Yet a fully functional fusion reactor would do that very thing to a degree that seems impossible. I have faith that one day, humanity will create such a machine. Come to think of it, a fully functinal commercial ready fusion reactor is already in the building stages and is expected to be operational in the next decade.

You're positively minded, so here's a bit of enlightement on how things work.
To fuse nuclei, take 2 hydrogens, one needs to overcome the "strong force".
Done in tokamaks, nuke blasts and the sun.
All HIGH PRESSURE HIGH ENERGY devices, i.e. very HOT.
None defies energy conservation from relativistic point of view. Mass turns to energy.
Cold fusion is not here yet, at least in a repetitive way.
And hot fusion is "a little too hot".
This is not a "garage project".

a patent cost you $3000-20000 . If you work for a company, any invention idea you have belong to the company. Even if you get your patent, big company still can bend the law and file lawsuit on you. Wth is this world coming to. Anyone care about humanity anymore?

It cost me around $6500 and I do all my own drawings.
I am working on another patent and attorney's fees are about $5000.

i like the idea of open source. I like the idea of not making a profit because i think profit is just a artificial way of feeling successful, but his approach to this seems like a scam, "a inventor could make money by creating a pdf with every information and selling it for 30 bucks", that is a stretch to get someone's idea. Not the best approach and i dont like it.
