  • Amen, God bless you brother.

  • what if someone accidently commits this sin because he said he had an unclean spirit but jumped back and said he is the spirit not even realized what he said and also thought that he said it because the pharisees said but not cause they said it but what they thought and not even jumped into there religion but still believes in the lord, is that because he didn't watch what he said didn't really meant it, did he actually do it, or is he confused ?

  • This teaching by Mr. Slick is in error.

I agree with his saying that a Christian, a true born-again believer, cannot commit the sin of blasphemy of the Holy Ghost. That's about it.

His teaching about this sin falls short of the glory of God.

His statements about a believer who is concerned if he/she has committed this sin is error.

To reiterate, a true born again believer cannot commit the sin of the blasphemy of the Holy Ghost.

  • Folks, I committed this sin. It is not a mere speaking against the Holy Spirit. What it is is to have The Holy Spirit, and ten go into and persist in sin, leading to the culmination of a wilful (presumptuous) sin. When I committed this, I went into a total terror, knowing myself to be condemned like Judas knew, and just like Saul went into terror after The Lord left him. It would have been good for me if I had never been born.

  • Thank you. This video has been most helpful on understanding this issue of this unforgivable sin.

  • Amen!!

  • I got in some arguments with some evangelicals who said I was demonic because I was Catholic, and when I prayed, I thought I was praying to Satan out of confusion, and then I looked this up and now I have this perspective of blasphemy of the spirit, and now because of my OCD, i have a COMPULSION to do it. Now I'm confused about the source and have a compulsion to do the unforgivable. Will God understand me? Will He have mercy? Did I commit the unpardonable sin?

  • @kubrox91 @kubrox91 Are you doing it out of malice or because of weakness (in your case, OCD)? Are you deliberately turning away from Christ's forgiveness? According to the early Christians, blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is more than just words. It's full, malicious rejection by the will of the redemptive power of Christ. Christ said blasphemies against Him, as the Son of MAN, can be forgiven. But blasphemies against His Divine power to save us is different - it works through the Holy Spirit.

  • @kubrox91 Also, I recommend seeing a counselor or therapist if you don't already for the OCD aspect, but more importantly, if this is still bothering you, talk to a priest. You can also talk to me about it. I recently have been delving into this topic deeply because I tend toward being slightly OCD and scrupulous about my sins myself. What I've learned so far from the early Christians and how they interpreted the verse to how people still interpret it has been comforting. God bless you.

  • @LilacLily9 I also have OCD, and I worry about whether I have commited the unforgivable sin. I personally believe that I have not committed my sin because I told myself that I will repent of my sins.......it's just I am not going to confession right this second, or right away. But that doesn't mean that I reject repentance completely.. But I watched a video by a priest who said that you have to repent IMMEDIATELY. What should I do?

  • @LilacLily9 I believe in the forgivness of Jesus Christ. But there are things which I believe in which the Catholic Church teaches differently, and those things are things which I am struggling on, because I don't know whether to believe that they are sins or not.

  • I have to add what is missing in this vid and everyone seems to miss. The Unpardonable Sin is NOT a one time shoot your mouth off. If you read Mttw 9:34 the Pharisees say he uses the Prince of demons. Long before Mtt 12 where they repeat it. Also Jesus is accused 4 times in John as well. Even still He tells them they are in DANGER of committing it, hence a point comes where you demonize the only ONE who can bring you to Christ, which is the Spirit.

  • My sister last year believes the Holy Spirit and God told her what to do in her ministry. She was placed in a hospital and took medicine and food which she says, "God said do not eat or take medicine"

Since taking the medicine and eating, she has ha said she is living in sin, lost all consolations and is a child of the devil. She is so depressed and feels she is under the wrath of God b/c her actions. She only believes the bible. She knows God loves her and knows with God anything is possible.

  • @xukeith33 but she still has NO HOPE. She feels God wants nothing to do with her because "her action has consequences". She is brainwashing herself by reading certain scripture passages and placing herself. She only accepts God to speak to her directly to prove her she is forgiven. Any scripture passages I can throw her to shed light on her action?

  • @xukeith33 - yes you can throw the verse Mttw 15:11 at her - it is NOT what goes into your mouth that defiles you, but what comes OUT of it!! [eg. your words]. Only the Nazarites of old and the one disobedient prophet in the OT had such instructions about not eating/drinking. Tell her God is waiting for her to rise up and walk with Him, He isn't the one cramming her down.... she's fine in Gods eyes.

  • Matt - I am curious about something. You brought up that the sin went against the spirit/truth/everything of what he was trying to accomplish. Is it possible that the reason they cannot be forgiven is because if they persist in this they couldn't possibly receive Christ as savior? That it is the continuance in this blaspheming the spirit that they remain unforgiven rather than the specific sin itself? Meaning could the Spirit lead them to repentance unto salvation at a later time?

  • I used to be a christian, back in the 70s I was mentally molested as a child at a christian summer camp. However through the act of thinking for myself (& not allowing other irrational christian mental perverts to do this me) I managed to think my way out of the delusional mess I was in as a christard, thereby becoming untarded again.

And today, even though I know the 'holy spirit' is no more real than the Tooth Fairy, I can symbolically tell the spirit of this evil god to go fuck itself :D

  • @JESUSLUVSHISOWNFARTS What that person did was wrong, but your unforgiveness toward them only hurts you.

  • I am a christian, but a few weeks ago i was having a bad day and I told both God and Jesus to go to hell. I know he was trying to help me and i still told him to go to hell. i am worried.. am i going to hell. i prayed for his forgiveness and i can't go back and do it over again though i wish i could. i am now depressed and tired all the time, i have medication i take for my bi-polar but it does not seem to help.. i know what i did is wrong, but i don't know.

  • @rxmakeupqueen Check out the book of Romans... particularly the passage that says "therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus" meaning if you were ever a Christian (one who has repented of their sins and trusts in Christ's righteousness alone on their behalf) then you can't not be a Christian.

  • @rxmakeupqueen this scriputre of unpardonable has racked my heart on and off for years...i know how you feel because i said something about revelation while being fearful of what i read i said this is some scary sh't..i felt condemned..indeed revelation is sacred but if the unpardonable sin can be committed then satan has the ability to dismantle every christian because their would be one sin in which jesus did not atone for .rest ashore.you have not, itds called paranoid.

  • @rxmakeupqueen - Do you really believe the Godhead has never heard that before?! Does it not say all blasphemy against the Son and Father can be forgiven. Besides, look at my post above and see, it takes more than once to shoot your mouth off to commit any unpardonable. What you did do was prove what the Bible says, our hearts are wicked and a fountain of filth. Christ would want you to search yourself to find out why you lash out with telling God where to go. A dark anger spot? You're okay...

  • Thanks, i got a better understanding of this. Your right about being concerned about the possibility to commit this sin, it is a sign that it will not be commited. God bless

  • Great Video

  • :)

  • Brilliant video my friend, absolutely wonderful. God Bless

  • The Holy Spirit isn't an it. He's a HE.

  • @xReNaiiZaNcE so if God is a "they" why do trinis use singular personal words? eg., "He, Him, I" etc.

  • @kyzersoze74 - The Bible shows us that 'God' is a nature, different from 'human' nature. When we say 'he' in reference to 'God', we are most always referring to the Father in Heaven. Christ who shares that same nature with Him when on earth was a revelation of the entire Godhead, and showing us how to gain a relationship with the Father, the one Person of the Trinity not exposed to Creation, but will be upon our entering Heaven. The Spirit points to Christ, and Christ to the Father

  • If you speak a word against the holy spirit that's blasephemy against it

  • @BiGMANJOE32 - takes more than once - seen in Mttw and John.

  • @xReNaiiZaNcE where does it say "God is Father, Son, HS"?

  • Thank God

  • Thank u so much I was so worried.

  • WWOOOFFF!!! what a releif !

  • So saying what it is is inconsidered blasphemy if we are christians

  • Matt...If God is 3 Persons, why is blasphemy against only 1 of the Persons considered an unforgivable sin [Mat 12.31-32]?

  • @kyzersoze74 - Because John 6:44 - nobody comes to Christ unless the Father draws him. John 14:6 nobody comes to the Father without Christ. This 3rd Trinity Person is the one who provides the drawing and believing to them John 3:5-8. The blasphemy as seen in Matthew is more than just one time. It is a progressive to the point you actually do demonize the ONE who can draw you to Christ. It occurs today by refusing to listen to the Spirit promptings, you regard it as useless info...

  • What if a person said that they weren't sure if people speaking in tongues were speaking to God, that they could be speaking in demonic tongues and not know it?

Would this be considered blasphmy of the Holy Spirit?

  • @nocturne1980 - not at all. It's either God, Satan, or self delusion when speaking in Tongues. I put it under delusion because the book of Acts is CLEAR that tongues means literal human language and Peter made that clear. Unless the Spirit within YOU confirms with all faith that it IS Him speaking through that person, you're entitled to guard and be suspicious of them. Call it demonic? Well that's not the blasphemy if the Spirit is pulling you away from those engaging in it...

  • Respectfully the last part of this video made no sense. Why would the Holy Spirit convict you of a sin you had not committed?

  • @nocturne1980 - true. I think the point he was 'trying' to make was that if you truly did commit such of the Sin, guilt wouldn't be a problem as your conscience to the promptings of the Spirit would be officially dead. In fact, notice Jesus only said they were in DANGER of committing it... not there yet, but they said it multiple times even by then.

  • (cont) dwells in you, you are MOST ceartainly committing this sin, if you blasfem the Holy Spirit!!! so it is totally the other way around: a christian can commit the unforgivable sin, because YOU KNOW THE TRUTH, but NOT the unsaved! because he does not (yet) have the salvation!! the Holy Spirit does not dwell in him! it is crystalclear for me. and you know this to - God bless - Levi

  • "the fact that a believer cannot ever commit this unpardonable sin" - wrong! unfortunatly he can, i am saved, if i, by any reason would do that (blasfemy of the Holy Spririt) i would commit this sin! (exc.my bad engslih) by your meaning a saved person could never fall off? of course he can! that is just the meaning, if an UNSAVED person blasfem the Holy Spirit, what does happen to him? he cannot fall of any faith, because he doesnt have any! i you have the salvation and the holy spirit (cont)

  • God said that as a christian, if you repent of what you did wrong or sinned that as long as you asked forgiveness for that sin then it would be washed clean. God knows your heart, just reach out and talk to him about it. He forgives all sins! Hope that helped some.

  • what if u was saved and become atheist and then wanted become a christian again is there a chance or is this blasphemy? im confused please help

  • @glorytoyahweh1 The term "dumb" was once used to refer to someone who was both blind and deaf. Back in Hellen Keller's day, they actually called her condition "dumb". Now days we have just come to misuse this term for some reason.

  • this helped me out so much u have no idea!!!

  • "Blah blah blah, i am a man well into my 40's or 50's, and i still have my imaginary friend, and i have never even tried to think for myself..."

  • Praise the Living God!!

  • There is a video on youtube call the blasphemy challage and it needs to be STOPPED! it has thousands of teens blasphemy the holy spirit!!!!!

  • Thanks brother .. Really helped a lot

  • Oh mate, thanks for this great video, i was soooo woried that this i wasnt going to be able go to heaven man, i really enjoyed this vid and i agree with you ! God bless.

  • thanx for the video brother i think bad about god the satan was doing it but suddenly then i realised what evil ami thinking and i am really worried that can i be forgiven i really pray to god to forgive me for my wrong thoughts thats mean i have not committed the unforgivable si n as i repented and worried about it i feel releived praise jesus

  • How come jesus only did miracles to people he ran into or in front of crowds of witnesses? Couldn't he have raised a hand and fixed everybody? Seems like kind of a show to me...

  • @jerico641 I believe He did it this way so that there would be witnesses. If He simply raised His hand and healed everyone in the world who would be able to testify and say the miracle came from Him if they don't see Him do it only suddenly get healed in their homes? Who could they give the credit to and therefore become a witness and spread the news?

  • @lovece7

Oh, so he did those things to get credit for them, not to alleviate suffering. I see. That would make him kind of a sadistic asshole, wouldn't it?

  • @jerico641 You clearly have some animosity towards Christ and His teaching so it's hopeless to even try to reason with you. I can see where this is going so I'm not going to even bother. Good luck with life.

  • @lovece7

I can't have animosity toward something which I believe to be nonexistent. I was attempting to demonstrate that if your god had performed healing "miracles" just as a way of spreading his fame, then he would be a sadistic asshole (I would hope you'd agree). Since I believe the whole thing to be fantasy, I have no dog in the fight. More specifically, I'm attempting to point out that just maybe it would be better to see all this stuff as nonsense than to try and believe it as fact.

  • @jerico641 Because we need to actively believe in him. Nothing is given without efford. Not even grace. That is because we need a relation to him, not just a belief in his existence. If you want to find out if God is or is´nt there you have to actively seek him, if you want a miracle, you have to specifically ask for it and if you want his mercy you have to seek him for that aswell. In doing so, you develop a lasting active relationship instead of just a passive belief. I hope it makes sense.

  • @DXfanization

I did believe in the christian god until I was 17. During that time I sought out a relationship with that particular god constantly. The summer before I entered college I read the KJV of the bible and came to the realization that all of it was obvious fantasy (along with all other supernatural beliefs as well). What you're saying I'm sure makes plenty of sense to you, but it's like slamming on mental brakes; it's scary, but it can save your life if you'll do it.

  • @jerico641 What you need to grasp about faith is this: It is a personal stance you take based on subjective evaluation and experience(ie. I believe that my plane wont chrash, based on my experience with flying) whereas science is based on objective evaluation deriveing from impersonal experiments.

For instance I suffer from anxiety. There is much I can do about it. I can eat proper in order to raise my serertonin-level. I can take medication etc. Sometimes it works and sometimes not.Cont.

  • @DXfanization

See, that's where you're wrong, and that's where a lot of devout christians go wrong as well. An airplane is something you can touch, see, smell. The airplane pilot is a real, qualified person. There's more to go on than just past experience. Religion is based only on stories in an old book and personal feelings. Also, science isn't based on "impersonal experiments", it's based on discovery and evaluation of data to find the truth. Btw, can't god heal anxiety?

  • @jerico641 One thing I´ve noticed however is that prayer always makes a difference. When I pray I get a sense of security. I have the experience, that I am not alone with my problems and that there is someone I can always turn to. When I have nothing more to say I shut up and wait and a solution takes shape in my mind. When I act on the solution, however counterintuitive it is, I am suddenly at peace.

You may see it diferently, but I believe that this is God talking to me.

  • @DXfanization

Well, of course we see that differently. Personally, I'd call it meditation, maybe. Shutting up, calming down and letting a solution take shape in your mind is a good way to solve a problem, but if you start thinking that you're not alone in the room, I think you might want to consider increasing your medication a little...and I'd take the counter-intuitiveness with a grain of salt, if I were you.

  • @jerico641 Of course God can heal anxiety and He will. But as I said: Nothing comes without efford. My anxiety is relieved in the amount that I rely on Christ. That is my experience from day to day. Every day I make a commitment to rely on Him and the anxiety is replaced with peace and joy. Anxiety comes from insecurity and distrust. When I rely on God, I start to relax. That is the counterintuitiveness I am talking about. The point is that it works.

  • @DXfanization Concerning what you said about increasing my medication, I find it a bit condescending. If you believe in an omnipresent God, it is quite natural to believe that you are never alone. I belive that God watches over me every second of every day like He does with everyone.

The point is, that it works. It increases my quality of life, so why not apply it? For thousands of years, faith has benefitted humanity so howcome we all of a sudden rejected it 150 years ago?

  • @DXfanization

Well, then why bother with doctor visits and medications? Maybe you're just not praying in the right way or amount of time that would cause the anxiety to completely disappear. It seems to me that a loving god wouldn't play what seems to be a cruel cat-and-mouse game with you. You receive temporary relief when you pray and focus heavily on your faith, but you still have the overall problem. Isn't it possible it's a chemical imbalance only? I believe medicine is your key here.

  • @jerico641 I prefer to focus on what He does, rather than what He does´nt do. Medication only takes me to a certain point, whereas prayer is far more instant and effective. What I have learned through this process is, that God truly loves me. It is like when a child has lost its way, gets scared and calls his/her parent. The parent comes to its aid, and security is restored.

If it is only a chemical imbalance, then prayer would be absolutely futile.

  • @DXfanization

well, regardless of what you'd rather focus upon, I'm trying to stick to facts here. If prayer is so instant and effective, why doesn't it last? Would you be willing to consider for just a moment that YOU alone might be doing something extraordinary in the way of self healing and that maybe you could refine it if you'd drop the unnecessary baggage? Prayer sounds futile to me. And btw, your child analogy is flawed because parents are real, flesh and blood living beings.

  • I think if someone wishes to repent, it is a sign they haven't committed it. Repentance stems from the conviction of the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit wouldn't bother convicting someone who is eternally lost. If you are still wanting to repent, it means you haven't done it

  • What if I commited the sin before I was born again? In other words when I was atheist

  • @MamaMario13 I would refer you to 1 Timothy 1 : 13, which will help you see any sin you committed before conversion is forgiven

  • See the video that shows what happens after we die...it's called "GOD'S PRISON"

  • @RyanAndrewDickson What is unforgivable is if hateful words against the Holy Spirit comes past your lips. Like saying the H-ly S-irit is the devil is unforgivable but if the words are coming to your mind and you don't mean them then that is not blasphemy. Don't worry God is still with you.

  • @bluebunny4ya

God knows our thoughts... God desires all men to be saved, thus He desires to forgive all sins. God is able to forgive all sins, because blasphemy against the Holy Spirit is NOT too big for God to put on Jesus. Therefore, those who commit blaspheme against the Holy Spirit, themselves must not be able to repent, because the will, and ability to forgive, is already present in the heart of God. Fear not. Our God of love would even die for us again if He had to.

  • @PyroFreeze777 Thank you so much that is very true God is great the whole Trinity.

  • @RyanAndrewDickson You mean you've been concerned you may have done it? I have, but have found reassurance I haven't.

  • One who is concerned/bothered/worried about this, has not done it. It cannot happen accidentally, or without knowing about it. No one commits it who doesn't want to.

  • @RyanAndrewDickson I wouldn't either. What you mean?

  • I have been deeply concerned about this.

  • Thank you... The tears I've shed over this are many. The fear and despair kept unable to get out of bed.

  • @TheOneCalledBeloved

    @crippled82

The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is best defined as: "To keep the Holy Spirit at bay". Your passionate concern is evidence that you have not committed this sin. Whoever has done the simple act of placing his/her faith in the Lord for salvation is saved forever. Whoever is saved has the Holy Spirit. To say that a saved person can keep the Holy Spirit at bay does not make sense because a saved person will never be apart from the Holy Spirit. God bless u...

  • U are AWSOME thank younso much I was soooo worried but i know now im safe

  • I think I have committed the sin the same way the pharisees did:

I hear voices so I went to a pentecostal church for an exorcism, that time I had to accept Jesus, I did, but only in word. The voices cried it out and went away, what I was thinking was that the power driving them away was evil, the demons came back and never again responded to delivery or exorcisms. I though christianity was evil before because of stupid youtube movies, but i know better now. Still am hearing voices.

  • @crippled82

The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is best defined as: "To keep the Holy Spirit at bay". People would point to all kinds of verses to dispel the simple message of eternal security, but all I have to do is point to wherever the term "eternal life" exists in the Bible. Eternal life is just that- eternal! Those who have, through one act of faith, accepted God's mercy are forever saved. The seal of that guarantee is the Holy Spirit Himself indwelling the believer.

  • @crippled82 "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." john 6:37 also the demons came back because of what jesus said "When the unclean spirit is gone out of a man, he walketh through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he saith, I will return unto my house whence I came out." Luke 11:24..you did it out of ignorance because of the youtube movies, ask for forgiveness, call upon the name of JESUS and tell him to save you.

  • This may seem a bit off the subject, but, if God can forgive Adam and Eve then I'm inclined to believe that He is certainly willing to forgive anyone else. Because, after all, we all have inherited sin & death BECAUSE of the first parents. If you think about it, most sins that people commit are because they lack some good thing (whether it be physical or spiritual) and our first parents are to blame. So, it is hard for us to grasp the mercy of God but trust me, friend, God understands...

  • amen!

  • I understand the subject. It is biblical but what is this that we can't lose our salvation? If leave my computer right now and commit adultery im still saved? What if I don't feel remorse about it? I enjoyed every second of the sexual with that woman I'm still saved? Jesus is God and died for my sins but i'll continue having sex with everything that moves and curse every single person I come across..ect. I am still saved? I find that hard to believe

  • @micaeliel You cant lose it.Its not biblical.U can lose rewards and such but salvation never.

  • @MrUrosSrb Im not trying to start an argument or anything like that but Look at Matthew 7:21-23

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not PROPHESY in your name and in your name DRIVE OUT DEMONS and in your name PERFORM MIRACLES?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’

  • @micaeliel that is talking about people who were never saved i think.

  • @micaeliel You see how he tells them i never knew you.He doesnt say i Knew you,and then i forgot you..

  • @MrUrosSrb I understand, Jesus never knew them because they were always evildoers never christians or true believers. a true believer does not practice sin. in no way my intentions are to start a scripture tug o war but im clear on what i believe and in a way you have convinced me "you can't lose you salvation" but by practicing sin you reject it. God bless you and thank you for sharing :)

  • @micaeliel Yeah but thats just a current state. That can all change if we ask.By the way works dont save us.U cant by ur sinning undo what was done on the cross. But there will definately be losses for Christians who sin.But no loss of salvation. The Bible just doesnt teach that.Peace.

  • @micaeliel But that doesnt mean you should go out and sin.

  • @MrUrosSrb The bible may not say it directly...but i find really hard to believe that just because someone belives that Jesus died on the cross for his sins will inherit the kingdom of God even if such person lives a sinful life. We all sin, every day we do...but go out and commint adultery, fornication, steal, curse..ect..ect. and have no repentance whatsover, no conviction of sin on his/her life and still see the kingdom of God. ther is no love for God in those who practice such things.

  • @micaeliel

If God can forgive Adam and Eve (who, in their one act of rebellion, pretty much committed every other sin as well)...If God can forgive Moses (murderer)...if God can forgive King David...(adulterer/murderer)....if God can forgive Paul (once named "Saul", who was a murderer)...THEN HE CAN FOREVER SAVE THOSE WHO HAVE ACCEPTED CHRIST THROUGH ONE SINGLE ACT OF FAITH.

Salvation- you did not earn it and, by your own power, you do not keep it. But yet it is yours forever...

  • @SylentIntensity1122 i understand i didnt earn it, is a gift from God but (Galatians 5) *Read it* Paul is clearly talking to BELIEVERS, he says "I tell you beforehand, just as i also told you in the past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God". If someone gives you a gift would you step on it, break it and run over it with your car? if you do what do you think the other person will think? he'll think that you don't want it and will take you as ungrateful.

  • @micaeliel

The blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is best defined as: "To keep the Holy Spirit at bay". People like to point to all kinds of verses to dispel the simple message of eternal security, but all I have to do is point to wherever the term "eternal life" exists in the Bible. Eternal life is just that- ETERNAL! Those who have, through one act of faith, accepted God's mercy are forever saved. The seal of that guarantee is none other than the Holy Spirit Himself indwelling the believer.

  • @SylentIntensity1122 For those who are TRUE believers all that is correct but the "single act of faith" means nothing if that person who confess Jesus continues a sinful life. Don't you think that living a sinful life after that "single act of faith" is keeping the Holy Spirit at bay? isn't it part of the ministry of the Holy Spirit to santify the believer? how can this be acomplished by living a sinful life? 2 Timothy 2:19 "Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity" GBY

  • @micaeliel

I admire your commitment. Even though I am a proponent of the doctrine of "once saved, always saved", I am in no way condoning living a sinful life after salvation. It just needs to be stated that sin and righteousness are not just actions, they are states of being. It is possible for saved people to do bad things and it is possible for unsaved people to do good things. If a saved person sins, that does not null the work of complete deliverance began in his life by the Lord.

  • @SylentIntensity1122 Thank you, Glory to God. It was good talking to ya and share opinions. May God bless you abundantly.

  • @SylentIntensity1122 Good point. We need to do three things: We have to ask forgiveness for our sins. Trust that we´ve been forgiven and here comes the part we usually ignore: Turn away from the sin. If we fall again : Repent. If something lead us to temptation: Throw it out.

For as long as we keep doing this, I believe we stand in His grace.

As Jesus said:"Fight to get into the kingdom of Heaven. For many will try in vain."

Nothing comes effordless. Not even grace!!!

  • @DXfanization "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it?"- Jeremiah 17:9.

We should not make our ability or desire to do the right things the basis of the knowledge of our salvation. If we do, when all is said and done we only run the risk of condemning ourselves. We may condemn ourselves, but the Lord never does- for He has seen your past from your future and already knows every time you will fall and He has forgiven you in advance. This is "grace".

  • @SylentIntensity1122 Btw...Just to be clear in no way i'm trying to discourage anyone or trying to start a scripture tug o' war i'm just sharing my opinion on the subject and i respect everyone's opinion even when i disagree. I will never say who is or isn't saved. God has been so good to me that i can't give my body to serve sin anymore. Scripture says on 1 John 2:6 "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked"

  • AMEN thank you so much ive been worrying this past day thanks GOD JESUS CHRIST my savior.

  • Well one day my friend was wearing a shirt with crosses on it and I jokingly asked him "You got the holy spirit?" did I just condemn myself? I've been having horrible for the past two days with thousands of thoughts racing through the mind with negativity towards the Holy Spirit but I keep turning them away before I fully visualize them. ase someone

  • Check out 2worldsatwar for more details on blasphemy to The Holy Spirit (might have to scroll down to find video on blasphy) any ways 2worldsatwar helped me alot

  • I think even though u say such things u can be forgiven by God because it said in te Bible that there is no sin that won't be forgiven if u repent. But if u don't believe inGod the father and die u will parish. A pastor from country told me this and i believe it. Have faith brothers and sisters sins on earth can be forgiven

  • I don't care what my thoughts have said. I want Jesus in my life and I asked him to come in to my heart, but this nagging pained feeling of condemnation keeps coming back. I've lived with this off and on for years now. I don

t want lose what faith I think and thought I had.

  • @PhillyGirl1 If you want him he is yours, the devil is trying to make you feel unworthy of God's grace and mercy. you are worth it and you are not condemned but you are victorious through Christ! ask God to come into your heart and transform your mind. he will. i can attest to his wonderful transformations! lol

stay strong and prayerful my sister and i will be praying for you! :)

  • @PhillyGirl1 : It IS an internal struggle, because we all have evil in us--doubt and baseless guilt are two of those destructive and unnecessary emotions. We're all fighting our own personal wars inside ourselves, with the ultimate victory in Jesus Christ being the goal. I hope that helps.

  • @PhillyGirl1 I know how you feel I feel the same way I feel like i've lost Him or that he's given up on me.

  • @bluebunny4ya lets just remember that the Lord is faithful and that their is a reason why we wanted him to be with us and us with him for a reason. God is Great and does not delight in the death of his creation.

  • @PhillyGirl1 your so right in the Bible it says God planned uS just before the world was even made. I know I have to keep the faith and keep trying to seek Him because he has still been blessing me.

  • I deny the holy spirit and all other imaginary beings.

  • oh yeah i also still havent been baptised by cristiananity but i want to and think my self as a cristian

  • what if you are a cristian and you accidentally mixed up words and probably think you commited this sin some one please give me this ANSWER.

  • i think i have committed the unforgivable sin.. but i dont want to admit it. it makes me want to give up completely on faith.. how do i know?

  • @photo4l i got the same problem..i cant sleep for days now because of that.

  • I was so very worried about it last time and i blasphame the holy spirit in thoughts and i cried and cried and cried thinking that i am going straight to hell and begged for the lord for forgiveness and after 2 days of constant praying and begging, calling on god and Christ and the holy spirit to forgive me i suddenly felt a feeling saying "I am still here" and i felt so much better after that. However today i feel strange almost faithless but i know something is happening to me that is good.

  • But does it means when hes says those who blasphames the holy spirit is unforgivable for ages to come. Exactly why does it means for the ages to come?

  • Numbers 4:3 Count all the men from thirty to fifty years of age who come to serve in the work at the tent of meeting.

Jesus can be anywhere from 30-50?

  • rofl, change up your stance while thouands of teens reject your jew god!

  • im going to try to explain this the best i can. but first i want everyone to know, there is no sin which God will not forigve you of. he paid the price for every sin. (1 John 2:2) (Mark 3:28) Now yes the accusation was sinful, but its not what condemned them. the principal was that they were rejecting the Spirt's witness to accept Jesus Christ. this is why it is unforgivable. Jesus assures us in Mark 3:28 every sin can be forgiven. if you're worried about it you haven't done it. :)

  • Blind and dumb means he could not understand nor did he recognize the reality of God.You have not in mind the things of God. Note 1 John 5:6 - the Spirit is TRUTH. If you do not understand and recognize Father TRUTH, then how can you understand and recognize Jesus because no one can come to Jesus unless the Father draws that person. Hense you as well are dumb and blind. Oh and yes, a believer can in fact turn and deny the TRUTH. Note Hebrews 6:4-6 and the words Once enlightened. Fear God always.

  • i have been babtised and became an idiot and questioned and insuted god is it too late to apologise and regain faith. i feel empty and i dont want this life what should i do.

  • @DRAGONITESNIPPLE tell God you are sorry, submit once again to His ways, and trust that He has forgiven you already

  • is blasphemy not drawing pictures of god as angry looking, bearded white man?

  • I hope John Bunyan is right when suggesting that Blasphemy is the act of fighting or turning against Jesus after you have come to the knowledge of the truth, after being enlightened by the Spirit of God. It is then unforgivable to turn against God.

  • I am a christian and words used to come into my mind against the holy spirit i prayed and fasted and god showed me that he looks on the heart and it was not in my heart to do such a thing and remember there is no temptation but such as is common to man so lots of brothers and sisters have dealt with this praise the lord a christian can never commit such an act so don't let your heart be troubled

  • @whiang01 i had that happen too. but you're right your head is not your heart.

  • lol XD

  • DUDE (I mean "Sir")!!!! YOU DON'T KNOW (or maybe you do) HOW MUCH I NEEDED THAT!!!!!!!!!!!! This nearly brought me to tears because I have wondered about and wrestled with "thoughts" that go thru my mind to the point that I thought I may have committed the unpardonable sin.... Sometimes I wish I didn't know what this was!

  • My pastor told me after taking baptism many people lost faith in Jesus and turned back to idolatry which means they stated asking idols for their needs instead of GOD.

  • @dariusdynamite i went through the same thing

  • Amen.

  • thanks for this video i never had a clear understanding about this scripture...this video help.thanks alot and Godbless your soul

  • Why does it say blasphemy AND speak against?

Does blasphemy have to be a SPOKEN(mouth) sin?

cause I've had thoughts rolling in my head and it's blasphemous thoughts, but I don't mean them

  • @Imintheblessings2 Hahahaha don't worry you're not the only one, I been through the same thing, and I've worried about whether or not I've blasphemed against the Spirit because I've even had bad thoughts about Him, like even cursing Him out in my mind before even though it was more of a random and uncontrolled outburst out of negativity and frustration in some cases, but I never really felt that way about Him and I've never SPOKEN such things about Him or Christ either. And like this guy said-

  • @Imintheblessings2 if you were worried about it then you didn't do it after all because if you did then the Holy Spirit wouldn't be working on you and there would be no conviction, it would not still be on your mind to say the least. If the Holy Spirit is still working on you and bringing you to Christ(even more and more so) then that's evidence you DIDN'T BLASPHEME at all. Don't be ashamed or think you're alone in this, because you're not. Now I'm not saying keep thinking those bad things, -

  • @Imintheblessings2 because they're still not good, but just know that even INSPITE of that you can still be forgiven, especially as long as you're still bothered by it. As long as you haven't accused Christ of not saving people through the power of the Holy Spirit then you're still fine. Just be sure to stay smart and watch your words before they come out your mouth and just don't even think of saying anything wrong like that against Christ so that you WON'T actually say it. Just come to Him.

  • @Imintheblessings2 This message was a blessing to both you AND I, and all who thought it might have been too late, and now I myself know for SURE that it's NOT too late to get saved. Oh thank God for such a blessing as this man right here, and thank God for using such men to spread His word in LOVE and TRUTH. God is ssooooooo GOOD. :D ;) Peace, see ya in heaven with Christ.

  • Why would god save someone if he knew they had that sin?

  • As a former charismatic minister and today the most outspoken atheist in the USA, I not only teach about what Blasphemy of the holy spirit I demonstrate how to properly blaspheme the holy spirit! I am most likely the first atheist in the world to publicly blaspheme the holy spirit thereby sealing my fate!

I posted a video response and I doubt the carmvideos will let the video attach.

You can search "blasphemy of the holy spirit thesaintsrevenge"

    or youtube.com/watch?v=fh_kbZ4l550

  • particular groups in the word of faith movement will use this verse to scare people into believing in false healing and slaying in the spirit and rampant unintelligible tongues.

saying that if you call any of them out, or denounce them as demonic manifestations your going to hell.

its gross and may even trick the elect, but the fact is, its all about Jesus.

    JESUS JESUS JESUS

    not about doing greater works.

    i love him.

and i still love those wrapped up in WoF

but get your eyes fixed and focused

  • "eternal sin," it means a sin that God will not forgive to all eternity. If all the mountains on the earth were wearing down at the rate of one millimeter every thousand years, blasphemy against the Holy Spirit would still be unforgiven when the face of the earth is as smooth as a billiard ball. It is an eternally unforgivable sin

  • Thank you for posting this. God bless you.

  • Fuck it if no one will answer me il just ask god himself when I meet him 2moro

  • @WoWareios. Brother, take a minute to breathe. I pray that you haven't done anything else harmful. Stop cursing. There's so much hate on YouTube, it's incredible. Put that away from you. Just hang on, okay? Go to Jesus, repent of your sins and believe unto Him. Go to someone at a church and get some help and some answers for your questions. May God have mercy and bless you.

  • If I said fuck you to the holy spirit while angry and depressed alone in my room am I damned? I also didn't know it was unforgivable

  • @KonohaShinobi121 You watched it for a reason. "Who warned you of the wrath to come?."

  • Thank You!!!!!:D

  • Oh wow.. thank you so much sir. I thought I was going to hell for getting mad at god one day.. Its stupid I know but demon's I guess have been tormenting me over it for a while. I feel so much better now.. you dont even know.. I would of paid thousand's of dollars to hear this..
