For those who don't know, you down+B and then quickly tap on up the c-stick repeatedly to do this trick. There's a certain rhythm you have to hit, I want to say around 5 times a second. Doing that for 15minutes would murder whatever finger used to do it.

Also I think it's banned in tournaments.

it's actually not that hard to predict. you can have some really fast paced battles vs some of the computers. but they predict a lot too, so you gotta be doubly sure...

^_^ Been using Samus heavily since getting good at Melee (My best character there, too).

Only thing that gets me was her nerfed stats... I can't complain about her not having a lengthy physical move, since she DOESN'T in the games. It was quite nice to make the Grapple damage in air. Anyway, to deal with Nerfed, I just fight harder.

(I hate how the PC does "Perfect Shield + instant grab thing; somehow I've never gotten that down near that good... T_T Is it just me or is it really that hard?)

it's not that hard. you just gotta read them, cause I tend to do more dodge roll grab combos, rather than shield grabs, cause the shielding durability on brawl imo is shit compared to the other games, but the shield stun was down a bit more compared to 64 which made it a lot easier if I ever did. but it's mainly pivot, dash, or dodge roll grabs for me. but yes, PC perfect shield + insta-gib = annoying as hell. and yes I call it an insta-gib. -.-.

But it's not like it needs very long anyway! You can totally avoid an otherwise unavoidable move (ex:Properly timed Zero Laser), which is TOTALLY against the ethics of Metaknight; he's an honorable fighter, and as such shouldn't be cowering in fear of getting hit! Ah, well. I'm probably one of very few that would actually care about that viewpoint... sigh... (Though, not that you necessarily don't. I'm no telepath!)

And, no, from any tech-banning I've found, doing ANY Infinte Cape is totally banned, for obvious reasons. (Of course, normal cape is fine, naturally)

Besides, if you're not good enough to play without becoming untouchable, don't do a tourney. (Ironically, if you have practiced enough of this tech do do it well enough for common use... you should be good enough to play normally anyway)

And if you are in the air, you can just continue pressing the c stick up, eventually you will fall down to the ground, and of course you can just cancel it, but u can't go left and right all the time. just at the same direction that's all.
