We are just a higher level school and the main reason why MSU won in football was because Rich Rodriguez failed to recruit the state of Michigan. Brady Hoke has changed that around to what it used to be. And what its suppose to be. Those Who Stay Will Be Champions. BCS Sugar Bowl in his 1st year and it wasnt even his players that he recruited.

@MSUSpartan483 if you want to have an elite college football team you need great coaching and great recruiting. There will always be recruits that dont live up to their hype and their will be some that will be major sleepers. For the most part however, recruiting rankings do a great job of evaluating the talent coming in. Example. LSU, Alabama.

Funny how I'm a Spartan and I'm going to be the first to say that this year was good for both teams football-wise. We both played well, and I look forward to seeing more out of both teams. Basketball is going to be a wicked ride, but I do think that the schedules will speak loudly for both teams.

Football just doesn't work that way. Yes, there are relatively good teams and relatively bad ones, but MSU beat UM four years in a row, both on the road and at home. Four flukes in a row? I doubt it. It gives me so much more satisfaction that it gets to michigan fans so much when they lose to state, that they scrape to find something to convince themselves it was illegitimate so they can sleep better at night, but your right about this one, it wasnt legitimate... state should have punded these guys, not a legitimate resume building win, c'mon u guys

Basketball season is getting ready to start. Get ready to cry some more, Michigan. MSU is going to destroy you twice again this season (and hopefully a third in the Big Ten Tournament). Both games won't even be close this year.
