I wanted to do my hair like this for prom, it's about the same length as yours...but I have very lightly sideswept bangs and my hair is very thick, very naturally wavy (FRIZZY) and layered. I usually blow-dry and straighten it every day. Obviously, I won't straighten it this time, but do you think I could still blow-dry it with my antifrizz heat protector and then do this? Also, do you think this hairstyle would even work for the kind of hair I have?

if u want ur haiir to hold the curl...wash your hair at nite and dnt put anything in ur hair caz prodcuts weigh it down other than a heat protectant...then curl and holdin the curl on the iron depends on the density of your hair...finer hair for less seconds and thicker hair for longer...also use hair spray when the curl is out and coolin off...im goin to beauty and hair school and goin lookin into becomin a hair and makeup stylist...hope i helped :)

@aninhakali Well...a good curling iron is the key! as well as a good hairspray. I love cortex curlers as well as Enzo Milano. For Hairspray i'd recommend E'lnett L'oreal Hair spray extra hold

Ive always used a heat protectant, i use the tresemme one, and my split ends are really bad :/ What else could have caused it. I dont even use heat all the time. Could you do a video with tips preventing split ends :)
