I think what you're doing is GREAT. Considered doing it many times myself (for personal use) but haven't gotten around to it. I love the idea of digest versions of films and own many on Super 8 but they're usually disappointing because the prints are often not the best, which is why making fresh digests from better sources to honor and enjoy the digest is FANTASTIC! You do an excellent job of paring these films down to digest length.
