Your hair is gorgeous! and I agree its worth it. I have been trying to avoid ordering anything else but luckily there's a place in Atlanta that carries it. I actually bought the Burdock Root Butter Cream because I was afraid the other would be to heavy.
Hey Devine, is there any hair product out there that deals with dead follicles. cos i had a chemical accident while trying to retouch my hair once n the hair just never grew back.
P.S thanks for your you tube clips they are very useful.
I am not exactly sure, however I have read that apple cider vinegar promotes growth to those that may have patches etc that may not grow. Worth trying I think!!
Sometimes if you use the products and are happy, you should post your comments on their reviews page. I did that and recieved 10% off my order for today. It is expensive, but like Oyin, they will throw you a discount bone often. Give it a shot! Your hair is gorgeous by the way. :)
Fortunately for me I can purchase this product locally. I would need a significant discount to justify paying for shipping. 10% just would be me throwing money away. I am very happy I can drive less than 10 minutes to purchase my product.
Your twist are very nice and defined. QB products are great for moisture, healthy hair and growth, both creams work better for me on dry hair to prevent frizz.
Good review! I love all of my QB products. I normally use the Heavy Cream during the Fall and Winter then switch to the Burdock Root Butter Cream during the Spring and Summer!
I also love love this product...but it is a bit pricey.....an okay substitue is the Olive oil dry hair and scalp therapy by Organics..get the jar, it is diffrent from the bottle
Thank you! I just recvd qhemits burdock butter cream and Ive been using it for 2 days and I love it. Its an awesome moisturizer. I use it with my wash n gos, its lighter than the amla and olive but just as rich, if that makes sense so a little goes a long way. Thanks for sharing!
Actually it looks alot thicker than it actually is, its really fine and doesnt take much to weigh it down. Ive been strickly using it for moisture, not really for styling but it works great, seems to really give my hair a nice sheen.
I do single braids kdw4jc. It was suggested that I do cornrows due to the fact that I baid my hair often and cornrows would be faster(more sleep)lol, however I want the hang effect so I do single braids.
...I do exactly what my hair tells me to do & we get along just fine.
Hey...you could get hang effect from doing the braids too..just braid them downward from the center, and that way it will fall just you it would when you do individuals..hope that helps. either way, great review..I have the AOC and have yet to really use it for a twist/braid cream
Hey girl I suppose I should rephrase my statement I have washed my hair & then thrown cornrows in there because I had an errand or 2. After arriving back home I would take them down to then proceed to put my hair in single braids my hair would pretty much be a curly fro. I never did the cornrow thing purposely but just from the few times I was in a hurry & then taking them down to get down to business I would just have a fro(a cute fro:)
Thx, Yasmin. Love your signature & quote! I have a TWA; but, my teen has shoulder-length hair. We both have very thick, coarse hair. She has better hang effect & curl definition with twist-outs than cornrows also.
Soooo....did it moisturize your hair or not? You keep saying it gave you great "hold" but is it moisturizing?

Hmmm your hair looks like a thick texture sort of like mine. I like the heaviness of the amla & olive. So do you get similar results with your cream?
...I do exactly what my hair tells me to do & we get along just fine.
