ive owned a hyundai and it takes about 100-120m to stop from 100km/h where as in my other car a TT mitsubishi GTO can pull up from 100km/h in just over 60m with ABS and weighing 700kg more.
my point, besides these P Plate legal cars being built for day to day driving as having poor safety features is it doesnt matter if your in a hyundai or a GTO its the driver.
If they want us to stop being "Hoons" on the roads, then stop shutting down race-tracks and/or legal places where we can do it! Prime example - Oran Park!
The government is bringing this on themselves by reducing the legal places for us to let loose with vehicles in a safe environment

I Got 100% on every single one of my tests and have completed countless driving courses yet I would still never drive like an idiot on the roads becaue it;s the unexpected situation that really tests you. Guaranteed I'm a much better driver then you and I guarantee I can do a lot more of this a lot safer

@SuperBadWOG thats a problem in driver education not car power. in most of europe its normal to drive 150 non-stop for hours and hours on the freeway, the limits are 130 minimum, theres no such thing as freeway speed cameras, and police dont pull anyone over unless they are going minimum 160+, and there are way less accidents going 150+ there, than there are here going 100 or less. in euro driving test, you go through water zones and have to control a wet-slide, uphill starts, manual only tests

yes, i agree that ther are some fcking dickheads out ther on the road. but speed cameras r purely for money. out of the top 32 major crash sites only 2 have speed cameras. ?wat is this?

i mean, some guy goes racing down the street, a speed camera flashes him, he doesnt see the flash - he goes on about 160km/h and then crashes killing a whole family. what did the speed camera do?

One thing I reckon stupid with these laws is why would you banned v8s or turbo's if it's under it's power limit 200kw there will be no difference in power if theres 2 extra pistons only a different tone in the engine. But I do agree with the power laws some fuckin' idiots don't know how to drive and they think they can make they're car 500hp and be fine

@SuperBadWOG thats a problem in driver education not car power. in most of europe its normal to drive 150 non-stop for hours and hours on the freeway, the limits are 130 minimum, theres no such thing as freeway speed cameras, and police dont pull anyone over unless they are going minimum 160+, and there are way less accidents going 150+ there, than there are here going 100 or less. in euro driving test, you go through water zones and have to control a wet-slide, uphill starts, manual only tests
