You don't need, in general, to be in love just to think someone is good looking. By what you're telling me, Cuddy likes House. But does House really love Cuddy? Plus, some of these aren't justifications.

House would not like it if Wilson went with Cuddy because Wilson is House's only friend. It's like Daria Morgendorffer and Jane. Take Jane out, sad Daria (eg. the whole Tom Sloane angle that they did back then when Jane spent more time with Tom, causing Daria to notice.)
4×15 We take a trip into House's subconscious and see that Cuddy is his sex fantasy. It is Cuddy who stays with House so he can heal his brain bruise.
4×16 It is Cuddy who stays with House in the hospital holding his hand while she slept by his bedside. I always thought that was sweet.
Lets not even talk about the episode Joy.

5×6 What about that kiss he planted on her at the ending scene? Hot or what?
5×7 House goes to Cuddy's house to tell he likes her but couldn't work up the balls to knock on the front door.
5×10 Cuddy endlessly flirts with House throughout the whole episode I think they got to first base wait fondling is 2nd base....hmm. Cuddy goes to House but is saddened and hurt when she sees him with a hooker.
5×15 Cuddy wants House to be part of Rachel's ceremony.
I'm going off the back of my DVD boxes so I know I missed alot but I think I put enough.

wow...they rarely do the whole episode centered around this (in general on TV Prime time, although exclude soaps). I didn't predict this type of energy from this show. It was a pleasant, but non-House way to tell a story. They should've done it fighting over a patient while trying to shield their new relationship type of plot. Would've been more dramatic.
Just got done with tonight's episode and I now have hope for this series again. Let's be honest season 6 was not that great besides for a few episodes. But this season started off amazing. And it looks to be going in the right direction again. Can't wait! It's not so much if they are together as it is if they can do it right and keep things fresh. House has to change over time. If not there is no reason to watch because we would know the outcome.

Just got done with tonight's episode and I now have hope for this series again. Let's be honest season 6 was not that great besides for a few episodes. But this season started off amazing. And it looks to be going in the right direction again. Can't wait! It's not so much if they are together as it is if they can do it right and keep things fresh. House has to change over time. If not there is no reason to watch because we would know the outcome.

Can't we just go back to diagnosing random rare diseases and yelling at our coworkers?

House was like a male Daria Morgendorffer to me. Now he's a pussy it seems.
He's spent most of the first 4 seasons avoiding Cuddy and trying to have as little to do with her as possible. Suddenly he's in love. It's unrealistic (and very fanfiction-y) for someone to dislike, disrespect, and spend much of their time avoiding someone only to come to an epiphany that a one night stand 20 years ago suddenly equals love. All this without any "liking" or friendship in between.

I refuse to believe that Cuddy would have given up her new house, fiance and the stability for her daughter so readily.
I believe itll turn out at the end of this season that House is infact still trapped under rubble of the House he was under and all of season 7 was infact some sort of coma - dream that was created by his mind as he his body gradually shut down as he died. But who knows. This show could go anyway.
