Let's put this into context. This try is by a French team in the final minute of the last game of their tour to NZ. This try is to win the game and the tour. The Baa-Baas 1973 try was in the first minutes of a game against an NZ team at the end of their tour, playing a team of mostly Welshmen, in Cardiff . Plus there is no questionable forward pass (Quinnell to Edwards). For me this is the better try, BTW I'm Welsh. My dad went to the 1973 game and still bangs on about it!

@marcaus21 im Welsh but gotta give props to this try as well, the change of angles and quick hands from the French in this try is outstanding, The most entertaining games of recent 6 nations encounters has to be Wales vs France hope this weekends game will be no exception

@marcaus21 in fairness that was an absokutely AWESOME try. but these are 2 different types methinks. the barbas one relied more on the individual brilliance of the welsh players et all, whereas this one is an EPIC team try :D how many passes like? so its hard to compare :) but funny, does anybody notice that the 2 contenders for tries of the centrury are both against new zealand? :P
