  • RIP Maynard....

  • @fordf150839

    thanks buddy

  • RIP Maynard.... Thank you for the video. I am sure I will be making something close to what you made soon. My girlfriend is looking at opening up a canine rehabilitation center next year and your video is verry helpful.

  • @mudtoycj7

    thanks buddy .

hope the idea helps a big dog out :)

  • That is an outstanding rig. It's great to see someone do whatever they can to help their companion, too many people look the other way when their dog needs something. Thank You for that.

  • @oldchevy4x4

    thanks buddy ,

    appreciate the nice comment .

  • my dog died in my arms, when i finally got over being sad, i got a another dog, then that dog died in my arms 7 months later

  • @sickdeathshappen

sorry to hear that buddy .

  • @500passwords Parvo, its sad, vaccinated my dogs but they were too young..., i gladly accepted another dog, already vaccinated, not my dog, just taking care of him, been 36 months ive had him, he is doing good. i just got his yearly vaccination yesterday. he is 5 years old or 35...his immune system is strong, weighs 61 pounds. he is a blue nose pit bull, the most friendly pit bull in the world...raised around kids. wish the best you..that wheel carrier you made for your doggy is awesome....

  • Sir, that is fantastic! We need more dog/cat owners like you in this world. I pray our big 'ol irish wolfhounds wont' have to go through what maynard did but if they do we'll be calling ya!

Happy Holidays and thanks so much for posting this video!!

  • @IRSFBI

    thank you friend .

i hope you never need it either .

    appreciate the nice comment .

  • idk what to say. u are like the best guy i know. beacuse theres some ppl out there who if there dog was like tthat they would let them sit there till they die in pain.and for some guy to go out there and try to make a diffrence is awsome.and i cant imagine how u felt when he hr took his last steps. i feel for yea. good luck man. seya around.

  • @dirtshower250

    thanks buddy

  • This is a powerful video 500. I have a lump in my throat while watching. Thanks for sharing it. You are a great person.

  • thanks buddy , he was a great dog :)

  • I think this machine is a wonderful idea. I am a licensed veterinary technician, who also does canine/feline rehabilitation. It is difficult to get the bigger dogs up and moving around after they've had surgery. This machine would definitely be a huge help!

  • thank you :) i still got it if you come across

    a big dog needing it

  • Great vid 500. It's obvious that you loved Maynard very much to go through all that work for him. Dogs are part of our families, some people dont understand that. I've been laughed at for building nice caskets for my dogs that passed on but I dont care. What you did for Maynard is very commendalbe.

  • thank you buddy , i wouldnt laugh at you :)

  • I have watched almost all of your videos in the past few weeks. But this one was really tough for me to watch. Anyone that has lost a best friend would have tears in their eyes. Wishing the best for you and Trace this Holiday season.

  • thank you . losing maynard was pretty hard on me .

but i keep this video on here just in case

my idea might help some other big dog ,

    merry x-mas

  • god bless god old maynard he licked your mule alot didnt he

  • yeah he liked it , he didnt like walking much :)

  • he was a big dog we had to sell our show dog tick today he causes too much trama for nitro and the other dobermans he also dose not like to walk he either sleeps or runs full blast i sure will miss him he is a good boy

  • Really nice vid......watching brought back memories of dogs and kitties I've had the privilege to know. Will be back to watch your other vids.

You are a great friend to Maynard and I'm sure he knew it.

  • thank you

  • Great vid.

  • thanks keith

  • Very nice video...I hope that your dedication to the big, sweet boy can help another dog in need.

  • thank you , me to

  • I see a little elbow grease and a lotta love in that contraption. It's good of you to show people what's possible.

  • thanks man , just did whatever i could

  • only saw this because i subscribed to your other videos, your a great guy if your ever in melbourne australia ill buy you a beer

  • lol . i dont get down there very often , but if i ever come to australia i will gladly take you up on that beer .

  • right on . thanks

  • poor old maynard...thats a good thing you did

  • thanks buddy

  • I sorry about Maynard, that was a good idea.

  • thanks nick , i wasnt trying to bum everybody out , just hoped it might help some other big dog

  • Maynard was lucky to have you. God bless and have a good Memorial Day.

  • thanks friend , appreciate it

  • well youre a good man for \doing it. any wod on the wheel horse motor?

  • it needs 500 bucks in parts alone , not counting machine work , hence the delay. im gonna shop around online and in town for better prices tomorrow , . its the indy 500 around here today . the whole states drunk . lol . hope to have something going by next weekend later , andy

  • must be hard to post after losing him like that but maybe it will help another dog someday. be proud you did so much for him.. You lifted that dog up that easy? i gotta stay on your good side. lol.

  • thats what i was hoping for , maybe it will help some big dogs somewhere.

far as lifting him , i had no choice , but im getting to old for that

  • that is ingenous really . totally looks like something you would buy. maybe you can make it available to the vets to rent use when they get a big dog like maynard was, so it can go to good use. its too well designed to just sit there. you build nice stuff man

  • thanks ring

my local vets know i got it if they need it , now i guess the world knows

i had to make it look like it belonged in hospital setting. purdue vet school wouldnt let me bring in some rusty contraption that looked thrown together.

i also had to design it to be able to fit on elevators and thru standard size doors . thanks for commenting

  • Wow! Ten grand for a patent? Whew, they sure know how to sidetrack the average guy.

    John

  • for one that covers every aspect its ten gs . i know its nuts .

cost me 750 for patent search , the lawyer i went to was on the top floor of the tallest building in our state. figured he must be good

for 750 i got 1500 pages of other peoples designs that already applied for one. none were exactly like mine , but to close to call. if theres so many patents why couldnt i buy one when i needed to , i couldnt find anything big enough
