Right, but I mean, it wasn't seriously life-threatening to these two butting oxen. I've seen Holsteins feud off and on for life--but they rarely hurt each other.

Pretty common behaviour during the mating season-the goats do it all the time then. But then, the females do it just to greet each other.

Nobody got hurt. The animals weren't seriously fighting either. I think people just wanted to get back to work and the cows were wasting time.

My dad told me it happened all the time in Vietnam back in the 1950's and 60's even.
