the band name came from one of the members maiden names and they liked it and then they later found out it ment "for love"

actualy im leaning more towards the meaning "for love" because in spanish for love means "para amor" which of course is a morphed version of an origin latin word which means for love.. somewhere along the lines of"paramore"... i guess..
