HLDJ Tutorial,Setup,And How To Use It On TF2 (Simple)

I put all my stuff in the audio file, converted them, play it on a server that lets you use it and I press my key binding and there is no sound.. Please help!

The only reason this wouldnt work if you did everything right is that the server has it disabled. If that happens your pretty much screwed.

@denson123321 the converter converts the mp3 files you have to wav. , because mp3 isnt supported by HLDJ.

Thanks man, works great. Only thing is like 90% of TF2 servers have it disabled, and the one I tested it on for 5 seconds they banned me LOL.

@Jeruhmi Type "Surf" in the map name, then look for a server called "Niggy's". It's a modded server specifically for HLDJ. I will put the I.P. in the description.

I've tried converting my songs manually with Audacity, or by using the audio converter that comes with HLDJ. Every time I go on a server and try to play, it's all just a bunch of muffled noises. Any ideas?

@matthewcardinals Never mind, I found out than only a few servers have HLDJ enabled. However, I have another question. Can I place my music clips into folders so that whenever I'm on TF2 I don't have to sort through the entire list alphabetically?

Yeah nothings working. i even got the griefing pack.. converted them with hldj and still get the same results. Sounds like a static feed back and it just locks my MIC on.. i can hear myself coming out of the speakers and everything else... so idk.

I kept getting a mic loop, as in it just hears my mic, and gose all crasy with high pitched sounds, it says the music is uploaded and ready, but when i hit f11 it just gets the high pitched sound, a player on the game said the mic is looped... help??

@25penguin25 Im not even sure F11 works, I meant F1 but it was a typo. Did you select the file you want to play in the console? Hint: Sometimes 1 and 2 could be empty. If you did, did you try using different clips?

@matthewcardinals I got it working, i figured out that the server I was on, did not allow the mic spam, and it caused massive mic problems, so when i went on a "mic spam" server, it worked perfectly :) thanks alot! :D

@some14u2no TFDJ is 100% fake. HLDJ is still possible to use on TF2, but the default settings disallow it. You must be in a server with certain console settings. Look in the description for more.

Started the game thru HLDJ. loaded the files thru the console using "la". My play key is F1. I started my own server and typed each of the commands to enable HLDJ. When I type the wav.'s number it says its loaded. I downloaded the wavs. from your other video you posted. and still no sounds! The engie is on Source as well... Is there something else im missing?
