check out the sleepy man banjo band tell me whatyou think they are only 8 10 11 they are the mazzoni brothers check them out on you tube they are incredible !
Not to sound like a guitar geek, but they're playing that song in the key of G and Andy is playing it in C. Oh Well, still a great show these episodes are some of the best.
those guys can really sing blue grass!....i just wonder if they practiced not making any facial expressions for this episode?..or if that was their natural way to sing..I love listening to them.....
The Golden Age of television right here:):):):):) This particuliar episode is called mountain wedding. It involves Ernest T. Bass. Just the mention of that name and i'm LMAO-ROTFL.
The only words ever said by any of the Darlings was when Aunt Bea asked if Mitch had had enough to eat and he said "'Bout to pop!". Other than that, it was always the straight, comatose, looking face. Perfect acting jobs and characters!
Poor Dooley. Dang revenuers! Consarn-it!

The damn FCC would probably censor this out now since it's about moonshine. It's a great song.

They also did a good job with "There is a Time" nice heartfelt lyrics.

It looks like the guitar and banjo are capo on the 4th fret and playing G shape so it would be in the key of B.

@iadrift I'm not too sure. Both the singer's guitar and the banjo are capo'd. He's playing the G shape, only higher up the fretboard.
