I've never encountered 4Ts as a concert piece, it having been commissioned by Balanchine for a ballet, that being said, the tempo is so slow, too slow to dance, but maybe appropriate for concert. However, there are recordings where the Melancholic movement is quicker than on this offering. Maybe that they are students needs to be taken into account. Good playing overall...
