@aussie114 Great video! So making too many faces on a blender 64 bit is still a bad idea? Because the difference between the two dont seem to be that huge.
NIce video. I used to run windows xp 32 bit until I made the switch to linux. When I installed a 64 bit distro and did a render test, my face lit up. :D (<-- like that)
the first part was rendered twice, and then the right side was speed up by 21% mathematically, the second video was screen captured at 1 frame per second, and then I made sure the 64 bit side was 26% faster, as per my results, I guarantee this video is visually accurate.
THIS IS NOT A FAKE!!! WHY DO YOU THINK CORE i7 IS ON 64Bit? because 32bit is faster???

what really annoys me about 64 bit technology is that the OSs require more memory and more space.

YOU CANT INSTALL 64 AND 32 BIT IS THE TYPES OF PROCESSER.SO IF YOU NEED 64 BUY A 64 BIT PROCESSER LIKE MINE
thefarazch 1 year ago
@thefarazch No, on a 64-bit processor, you can run 32-bit aswell as 64-bit.

I'd assume this is directly related to the Extra memory that 64-bit can handle along with the increased memory bandwidth.

How do you compare like that? Did you actually do a screen capture or is the video an illustration created by yourself?

well as visually accurate as I can make it without the video being 13 minutes plus long.

Is there an actual blender test you can run? Just curious, it would be real good for benchmarks. Or is this just something you setup.
zoulkyud 2 years ago
eofw[DOT]org/bench/ or just google "blender benchmark" its the first result.
