  • The Exaust is gone. Or it has a majour leak. Sounds perfect!

  • When these buses were put into service in the 80's they were one of the most advanced buses in Australia. Not bad going when you think of it. They were in service for just under 30 years. A lot of them have been purchased by party bus operators and art still going strong.

  • All these sound like leaky flogged out air compressors!! Bring on the Detroit diesel much better sound and power.

  • MAN SL200, Ansair Mk.1 body. Built for the Met, transferred to National Bus when the Met was privatised.

  • What is this bus supposed to be? It's not a mk 1 National is it?

  • @HondaH100A M.A.N. Mk 1 1st ran by the MET (MMTB). Later National took over when the Lib's made it all Ptv.

Late Ventura has now taken over.

These are no longer ran on normal service runs. They are ran by Party Bus or Moblie Homes.

They can fun to drive when they were in good running condtion.

  • When did you record that?

  • 29th of June 2006. I next saw it on the 15th of August sounding normal, don't know if it took all that long being repaired though.
