i have this camera.. its okay i would reccomend it to people with kids who want to record videos because it is very simple to use.. the thing i hate the most about it is that u can only charge it with the charger it came with.. i lost the charger and i had to order a new one for $7... $7 is okay but it would have been a lot easier if i could charge it on my laptop or desktop
so would you recommend this for a biker? cuz i'm planning to record a lot while i'm on my motorcycle, vlogging, and maybe even for insurance purposes in case i get into an accident.
so if i were to be traveling at high rates of speed would the camcorder be able to pick it up properly or would it be blurry?
im getting this camera tommaorow i asked the guy about this he said its because since the zoom is in the back it gives a jult buy like a cheap 6 inch buypod for like a hand grip and it should redose the shake in the zoom
pretty worth it, i have it, takes good hd vid and sd vid if it is in sunlight, but in dark its not so good, it gets kind of grainy but yeah for 100 bucks it good
Nice backyard bro but dude I got the same mother ucking problem... Those effing reject AVI files aren't compatitable with wmv if you want to edit and stuff sometimes only the audio comes out as for vista. They all say we have to install stupid codec shits but even with those codec it doesn't work. I tried a free converter trial and the sound didn't work and evrything plz help me and why the buck did they put their videos in stupid avi I KING HATE AVI ! SHIT AVI SHIT AVI SHIT!
my camcorder is fine recording and fine audio but i cantseem to upload it into movie maker.... it just comes out as an audio file. please reply fast!!!
lol@ everyone that has unrealistic expectations...i just got one, along with a good SDHC card [sandisk ultra II] for about $125. which is $100 less than the mino hd, vado hd and zi6.
for $125, it's worth it. Im only using it for random crap anyway. I have an XL1 for SD stuff and am considering another prosumer type camcorder for the pro stuff.
having one fo these is the same reason why you have both a P&S and a DSLR still cam. different results for different situations.
i just bought one yesterday and i freakin love it!! what else do you want for $99? now you can watch this vid in HD and it has great picture quality. what u need to do is set the resolution to D1 which is right under HD and it will give you the "high quality" option for youtube instead of regular or HD. check out my TEST VIDEO and itll show the D1 resolution instead of HD... its good
i deleted it... if you check out my featured vid, my 0-60mph vid, or the newest walk around of my truck, all of those are in the D1 resolution (720x480)... great picture quality
Do you know what cable you use for the camera to the computer? I tried using the "HDMI" one and my computer doesn't have that plug, it's too big. Then I searched it up, now it's talking about all this "DVI" plugs and stuff and now I'm just confused ):
There is another plug that the camcorder comes with, the USB plug. Use that to connect to the computer. Or if your computer has an SD card reader, take the card out and use that.
Get an SD card memory card reader for your computer. Take the card out from the Camcorder, put it in and browse the folders. Your video files are the .avi files
I've recorded the same video on HD and SD and i see NO difference when i playback on the camera or on the computer... i tried with VLC on MAC and windows media player on the PC and I see no HD... what am i doing wrong? i made sure the "HD" symbol was on when i recorded. please help
I have the same issue when I play the vid back on my PC it does not look good at all and the sound is OFF kinda laggy however when I upload the video to you tube it seems to fix the problem. May be widows media player is not seeing the file as HD?
have you tried this in low light? I've heard its pretty bad. Many of the reviews bought it after being convinced of its quality in the store. The problem being its extremely bright in the store, and when it was tried in low light conditions, the consumer described the picture as blocky and grainy, soon returning it because he thought it was defective
yes this camera is very bad in low light, it does have a little white LED, but doesn't help. It's not really made for low light. It's a budget easy to use camera that records in 720p.
I noticed that too. It is very clear though when you're outside. I have a video of my brother inside of the house and its not clear, although I still really like the camera
Its at bestbuy as of today for 89.99 and thanks for pointing out to click on "watch in HD" never knew it was there the quality is good so much better than the flip
kodak is well known because of its price. its cheaper than most others. As of now, Sony and Samsung is the best in electronics. I sugest the Sony Handycam. It's price tag is a bit scary to look at. the least expensive one is 799 but i can tell you its worth your money. the HDR-CX12 is the first camcorder with face detection. it focuses on up to 8 faces at once and you can record up to 22 hours at once. it is a great camera, 1080p full HD. i truly recommmed it. hope that helps
not a good standard to go on, i bought an hp laptop in 07 bc it was a "well-known brand" and guess wat? it sucked! had to send it back 5 times to get the pos keeps breaking apart (twice graphics card dies, n once internal wireless burned out). i learned my lesson!
It's the NS-DCC5HB09. It shows up when you search for that. Looks like Best Buy upped the price to $149. It was $99 during the week of Black Friday and previous weeks.
Nice vid :-) It's amazing how the more we get through the years, the more we find to pick apart. Once you get a camera with better stabilization/clarity, suddenly the lesser camera is thought of as garbage by some. In a sense, the clarity is amazing. It's just that when you move, zoom or have less light it's not super. The only reason I'd consider something better is because I'm willing to spend more, but if I couldn't this camera isn't "horrible". For the price it's surprising.
I know you weren't picking it apart, but I meant some do when they get obsessed, lol. I looked at a $550 sanyo and there were people even picking that apart. The fact is what this cam is doing today is surprising. If you looked around 3 years ago, something like this for $99 would be unheard of. Especially offering higher def than old style cams.
No night vision shoooting, but it has a little white LED light on it. Also there are several video quality settings so you don't have to shoot in "HD" all the time.
this is a really good camera for the price.u can edit and ad 1080ip with software
