  • Awesome, I think the only thing this lacks is the human side of things, the interior, the captain saying orders, etc etc, but I understand is much harder to achieve, since believable humans are very hard to do in 3D.

    Congrats on the project. :)

  • Very well done! I really enjoyed it.

  • That was very good! I can imagine the script in my head- Captain Garret and her crew's reaction to the attack, the alert sirens, the consoles exploding. And I can see Castillo and Yar's valiant struggle and final decision to abandon ship. An awesome video!

  • You know the only reason i can think of that the klingons didnt say who was attacking them is because the romulens was in cloak at the time of the attack on the klingons

  • Enterprise unable to rise shields for 15 seconds,

then another 24 seconds to return fire... that's how Star Trek battles works guys...

Video itself is great, I have to say that, but scenario as usually with ST - very disappointing.

  • That was brilliant if I do say so myself. Will subscribe and look forward to seeing more like that mate. Big thumbs up !

  • wow i liked this alot can i keep a copy for private viewing?

  • Flippin' good. Not too over the top and a fine use of tmieline. Very good!!!

  • Very fine work, (I wish I could animate like that) Good to see the old NCC 1701-C's story told!

  • Well done, sir. That was superb. Always loved the Ambassador class ships, and the pre-TNG warbirds looked fantastic.

  • This is a prime example how to win at youtube!

  • Thank you! this was nicely done and i love it.

  • hey man! you're doing such a wonderful job here! I admire!

  • I have to admit one of the few best make fan ones i seen by far and i seen alot of them, one question tho why no shields, shouldent the enterpride D have fixed them

  • Great Job

  • Tough little ship.

  • That was pretty good you should do more of those keep up the good work that going in my faves hope to see more soon.

  • That was a lot of fun! Thanks :)

  • Great stuff !!!!!

  • Excellent Job Fanatastic!!!!!!

  • What! The E-C didn't have torpedos?

  • Isnt it supposed to get attacked by 4 warbirds at once?

  • Wow!!

  • Huuh..So Enterprise takes a couple of disruptor shots and her shields are "wrecked" ? No warp option either ? she doesn't even manage to destroy ONE bloody warbird directly ? three torpedo impacts do no damage, neither do the single phaser ?

    It's the Enterprise, for god's sake ! not a friendly ship from Stargate SG1 ! that's ridiculous.

  • The pity is that the Klingons, apparently VERY forgetful, withdraw from the Khitomer Accords in the late 24th Century despite Kirk rescuing their Chancellor Gorkon a hundred years before, as well as all the other times that Starfleet and the Federation went out of its way to maintain a powerful alliance for decades (ex: Narendra III). I reference Star Trek Online with this bit of info. Such dishonor!

  • Great job! No knocking but ever notice just how poorly Fed ships do in battle? They take a licking but on the offense, they are pitiful! Defiant and Enterprise E are exceptions but think about the Ent-D and it;'s run ins with Klingon ships, especially this episode.

  • Fantastic job!

  • Wow! That must have taken a LOT of time to do. Great job.

  • Awesome video! It's too bad the other Romulan warbird wasn't destroyed.

  • Oustanding! No criticism! Fantastic work. It was wonderful to see the "Other side" of the rift and what happened! do you do spec work? I have a friend whos is a huge trekkie like me and I'd love to see his ship CG'd It's a reliant class with his name "USS John R. Grillo" would love to give him a vid of it for his birthday Let me know if you do....

  • @Liteninbug

Thank you, I would do but I'm having computer problems at the moment so I haven't done any new videos, don't know when I will get it fixed...

  • @VideoSpaceFX I paused the video when they entered the anomoly, then watched the episode, then unpaused it

  • @tsunamaisurfer606

Lol, that's the best way :)

  • I love it! But only thing I wouldn't make the ship JERK so much when hit.

  • question: The Enterprise C, dont have photon torpedoes?

  • @arckangel38 i guess they didnt have shields either, but still a great job, not far off the graphics of TNG s01

  • @glennster101 Yes, its anice job, of course!.

  • wow, nice job!!

  • Well done! Keep up the good work!

  • Please, do a Borg cube vs. a doomsday machine!

  • This is incredibly well done. Really nerdy, but great to watch. Cheers!

  • Congratulations, the video is very nice, probably took you a very long time, right? I am a 45 years old huge fan of Star Trek since I was a kid in the 70's. I'M FROM BRAZIL. I've learned most of my english in Texas, in 1985 when I was a teenager. That's when my love for the show really grew up, being abble to hear them in their own voices. Looking foward to your next videos. Ronaldo.

  • This is one of the many reasons why the Net is inspiring, great piece of work guys.

  • You rock man ! Excelent Video ! Like I said before about Battle of Maxia, the surprise atack timing must be improved. But it does not ruin the video. Congratulations again. I will follow your youtube channel.

  • I think the Enterprise C deserves its own show. It has received the least love out of all of the Enterprises, and though we know how the series would end, it would do a lot to fill in a lot of the holes between Kirk's era and Picard's. But could we ever get a new series based on the classic formula with the JJ stuff? I liked the new Star Trek movie. I prefer the originals, though.

  • 1) Why were there explosions as if her shields were never up every time the Enterprise was hit?

    2) Why did the Enterprise rock when she was hit? Since when do disruptors or any energy weapon push something when they connect? It's understandable the last time it happened because the ship was out of control, but not when it was hit previously.

    3) While there are pulse weapons in Star Trek, why were all the warbirds equipped with pulse instead of beam weapons when the latter is more often seen?

  • wow i guess i thought i was a trekie because i am old and liked the show, boy was i wrong, you guys are true fans, rock on

  • that was pretty cool!

  • Great video!! A shame there wasn't much ship-action in the actual episode like this!! Real fun!

  • Cripes what a pounding she's taking!! I can hardly stand the tension!!

  • Whats the song at 13:01??

  • @samusaran11

From "Let's Get Out of Here" in Star Trek V soundtrack.

  • Great vfx work! A little slow paced and did the c have shields?? Otherwise great work!

  • Thanks. It was fun.

  • Love the video (wow, great work)!

But... the future in which the Federation and the Empire are at war is the ORIGINAL Timeline, which Picard changed by sending the Enterprise-C 22 years back in time. PICARD CHANGED HISTORY. The familiar Timeline, in which the Federation and the Empire are at peace, is the ALTERED Timeline.

  • Why would there be no Klingon ships nearby to respond to the distress of Narendra? If it's so close to the Federation border, you'd think there'd be PLENTY of Klingon ships patrolling the area. And why would an outpost so close to the border be lightly defended in the first place?

    /end nerdrage

  • @DefconWarningSystem i think those are questions for the writers..but i agree..

  • Why is the Enterprise C only using phasers and no photon torpedoes?

  • @pqnguyen In the first half of the video, I mean.

  • This good stuff here man. I can tell a lot of work went into this. Keep it up.

  • Very well imagined and put into action!

  • I love your videos, and I would DEARLY love yo see you tackle some of the Dominion War. There is a LOT you could do. The Battle of Betazed, Chintoka: battle one and two ( I love battle 2... and the destruction of the Defiant, Operation Return ( the Retaking of DS9), and even the battle of the dominion and the Allied Cardassian/Romulan battle of the Omarian Nebula.

  • @RoseBunneh

Thanks. The only problem with those battles is that they have alot of ships but I might be able to do it.

  • @VideoSpaceFX OOH! almost forgot the suggestion of the battle from the beginning of Star Trek: First Contact... I'd LOVE to see some of what went on BEFORE the Enterprise-E got there.

  • Excellent retelling of the story! This continues to show that the best talent is on Youtube and not in Hollywood! Very nicely done and great imagination!!!!

  • I have no idea why these comments on polotics are here. It has nothing to do with the video. Just goes to show we have a long way to go before we can be anything like the universe that Rodenberry envisioned. Excellent work. Thank you.

  • @ricronin what? the whole point of the Yesterday's Enterprise was about politics between the Klingons, Feds and Romulans which is elaborated on in this video. In fact, most of Star Trek centers around politics.

  • If there is to be a future for humanity in space, it will not be achieved through politics or diplomacy but it will be achieved (to borrow liberally from Spock). What we need is a fundamental change in philosophy from this Dalek-like attitude of trumpeting the superiority of whatever group we belong to and abject hatred for all others not like us. I think some of the posts here are an example of that. VideoSpaceFX, you do fantastic work, by the way (actually getting back on subject)!

  • Lol @ you thoughtless idiots turning this into a real-world political debate; take it to who-gives-a-rat's-ass.com, morons. As for the poster of this video, this was an awesome watch, I can only imagine how much work it must've taken to develop it. If I could make one criticism, in my opinion there could've been a little less scripting. Nevertheless, awesome 'vid! The best part is that we all know that sweet Tasha gets taken to Romulus to be a sex slave, lol...

  • Well I can see the debate on this film has gone alittle off topic, but anyways, Great Film, You have some talent there. I really enjoyed it.

  • Whilst western non-muslim origins earthing in star trek have made honourable sacrifice for the Klingons - which made the Kligons to see new light, IN reality on earth western people do mass murder on innocent people,LIe and kill more people Afganistan , Iraq, Pakisan, Iran Syraiu , Lebanon , China Naitive AMericans, Africans and so on. Typical how you would go and make movies and TV series just feel good about yourself whilst you rape the real Earth.

  • @whitemanstand72

Let's think about this: The Taliban in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Saddam regime in Iraq, Ahmendinjad in Iran and the Assad regime in Syria, the Israelis, the Chinese communists - have they not murdered innocents as well? Anyway Star Trek has always been about crews that bring together different races and cultures, although it is guilty of an American bias that's not surprising considering its country of origin.

  • BTW The senior staff of the Ent-C portrayed in novels has included an Indian-Muslim chief engineer, Israeli-Jewish operations officer and Black African chief medical officer, so many origins are represented as is normal for Star Trek, which portrays a positive social view of the future that I think we should all aspire to.

  • @VideoSpaceFX TAliban in Pakistan when those PAkistani troops were fighting for your damn freedom so you can watch reruns of STar trek in the US ? Let mew tell you Talibans The US put them their Bin larden West put him their, Asad , Saddam the west put them their , the Irainian regiem was there thanks to the US who interfered in thir govt. ie assinating the prime minister of Iran in the 50s.Proof iot if the were any musilm in the Star Trek Universe I also resume that he he is not allowed..cont

  • @whitemanstand72 to practice his/her religion like the vulcans, klingons do.

  • @whitemanstand72

I am grateful for the sacrifice of all troops who fight for our freedoms, be they Pakistani, British or American. I don't think this is the place to argue about mistakes made by the US govt and the liberal outlook and thoughtful ideals expressed in your average ST episode are usually in complete opposition to kind of actions your talking about.

  • @whitemanstand72

Listen you disenfranchised muzzie bitch. The muzzies had their chance at empire, and they didn't take over the world centuries ago. Centuries from now, islam will be remembered as a most perverse cult that killed millions, created little or nothing, and tried to create a new dark age of ignorance and fear in the early 21st century. History will also record it being wiped out largely by its own sterility.

  • @whitemanstand72 You are a lying sack of left-wing filth

  • well made gold. Thank you for bringing this to the people who wish to see it.

  • Hi. Several months ago I sent you a message of praise for this excellent&enriching video, & I went on about us having a bright future if we get to space. Maybe we're a step closer if Gingrich is elected in America. I don't look at American politics but if he's serious, people should vote him in for the sake of our future! We can't all stop here forever, it;s only a matter of time before somebody notices our world of water& rich bounty. your video is as good as ever to watch! John, Ireland

  • @damagetowarpcore

Well I agree with his ideas on space, but not much else. If America, Russia, China, Europe and India co-opted their space programs, just imagine what could be achieved. We should put national differences aside and make the return to the Moon and mission to Mars a truely international endeavour.

  • @VideoSpaceFX I wouldn't count on any politician's promises on space exploration. Since the glory days of John Kennedy, most politicians have seen space exploration as a fool's errand; they prefer to spend money on their own pet projects and efforts to remain in office for as long as they can. Moreover, whenever a new politician replaces the old one, the first thing they tend to do is cancel whatever their predecessor had set in motion.

  • @VideoSpaceFX I see 2 possible futures for you, one where paramount tries to hire you, and another where they try to sue you

  • @damagetowarpcore You should check out the rest of what he says and stop cherry picking. The man is a monster.

  • From the moment the warbird decloaks until the moment it fires the Enterprise had plenty of time to raise shields and even fire back.........

  • Very well done, mate. Excellent

  • pretty cool

  • 納倫德拉第三戰役 - 昨天的企業號

  • OK, I get that the shields didn't go up earlier, but when they got away from the Romulans for a bit, why not raise them?

  • @Silence233

Inoperative - hence they tried to hide above the polar area of the planet to conduct repairs, but were found. I should have put captions up to explain that but I already get moaned out for having to many captions.

  • @VideoSpaceFX

Dont explain yourself, bro. This video was awesome. We should all know how star trek works. The first thing to stop working is the system you need the most.

  • @Silence233 Four A-Type Warbirds were pounding her. I don't think that the shields would have done more than provide a few seconds of delay at best.

  • Well done, this actually completes the episode "Yesterdays Enterprise"

  • Why didn't the Enterprise simply just fire their torpedoes?

  • Personally, I think the only thing missing from this clip, which would make it sensational is actors. Other than that, it's a good clip. And the Ambassador Class is a way better looking design than the Galaxy Class.

  • @VinnyMonster1

Of course and would have loved to do that. BTW take a look at my Enterprise-C crew portraits video.

  • @VinnyMonster1

Really add a actor or two and this would be great. Totally agree, the Ambassador class is way better than the Galaxy class. I mean "seriously?" the Galaxy class is basically a cruise ship with guns. And they made it the flag ship WTF?

  • @bigwhitehound

I can understand how bringing families along would work well for crews on long missions and also if they were doing actual work on the ship like research etc.

  • @VideoSpaceFX

But that's the thing, the families don't really seem to do anything. They must be doing something but in typical ST style the military seems to do it all. As much as I like ST more information on whats outside Star Fleet is sadly missing, sill I do see your point.

  • @VideoSpaceFX Yeah, but it would work the opposite way if they were headed into a dangerous mission. I mean, who's going to allow their family to be subject to unknown danger and terror?

  • @bigwhitehound And there's the Bridge Layout. The Galaxy class Bridge is almost like a private cinema or a TV lounge layout. All they needed were some waiters.

  • @VinnyMonster1

Captain: "Bring me a popcorn and some earl grey tea. Oh and blast that ship out there too.

  • Nicely done video. Can I ask you question what piece of music did you use from about 12:59 to 13:42? I like it.

  • @Hienn

Yes it's from "Let's Get Out of Here" from the Star Trek V OST, used in the scene where Spock tells Kirk not to hug him infront of the Klingons.

  • @VideoSpaceFX I was going to say, it's definitely from one of the movies.

  • Well made, but here as in pretty much all Star Trek, series and movies alike, it really irks me how completely ineptly they fight. And then there's of course the "Treaty of Algeron", it is one thing that the Federation ever even AGREED to that (albeit very unwise), to never develop cloaking tech themselves.. but they never even bothered to develop any countermeasures, technologies or doctrine to fight and/or detect cloaked ships which is suicidally stupid of them.

  • At the VERY LEAST they should have set computer override to fire everything they have when the sensors detect a ship cloaking or decloaking when they are at their most vulnerable, but noo they shoot seemingly at random distributed evenly at all ships, don't even concentrate fire.

  • @Rankoupa

So when that allied Klingon ship decloaks, you just blow the hell out of them? Granted, that wasn't a real possibility at this point, but several times a friendly ship has decloaked on the shows to give help. Setting the computer to automatically fire on a decloaking ship would be a bad idea.

  • @Rankoupa

Cloaks progress. They had ways to detect old cloaks. A TOS-era Romulan ship wouldn't have any way of getting passed the Enterprise-D cloaked. But as time goes on, those cloaks improve. Methods that would detect an older one would fail against newer ones. If I remember correctly, Neutrino scans would reveal a cloaked ship.

  • Very good fun to watch. I knew that was the enterprise C but did not realize what episode it was from until it went through the space distortion. Thanks!

  • Awesome done, but the cut is way too gently

  • Nice design on the retro warbirds.

  • Pretty wimpy response from the Enterprise.

  • watched this video and subscribed, thx for making and sharing it =)

  • The federation weapons seem to be pretty ineffective as seen in this video.

But nice video and good use of music, sound effects and text to narrate.

  • This is a very good video. but it does not make sense that ENT does not raise the shields again. Also the pitching at impacts does not make sense, it's mostly thermal energy. a light torpedo or even an energy beam does not pitch a spacecraft of ENT's size. And why should it pitch back again? Why is ENT nor using torpedoes herself only at the very end? Why do light glow, when she has no power? Also it is clear that antimatter containment fails when there is no power. Nonetheless, great work!

  • Brilliant work man!!Or woman LoL

  • Very coo. Wish I knew how to do stuff like this. I can barely draw a stick figure with a pencil. :)

  • Excellent.

  • Cool Vid.

  • Excellent work here. Keep it up!

  • Nice work... enjoyed this a lot :)

  • Use the Picard Manuever!

  • That was surprisingly awesome.

  • Did you use some music from Star trek Armada?

  • Comment removed

  • Wow. This video is beautiful. Seems almost TV/movie quality.

  • How come you don't post the videos in a higher resolution??

  • @meteorafallen

I have posted in HD for a while now, see any of the newer videos. This was rendered out for 480p but I am working on an HD edit.

  • You did an awesome job who cares if other people dont like some things let them do a better job I enjoyed your story

  • Awesome! Im so re-installing some of my old Star Trek games and giving them a go!

  • @24thofjuly1985

Yes I do that every few years till i get bored again lol.

  • Enjoyed this. Thanks.

  • The Enterprise C has always been my least favorite design. Your rendering makes it look so beautiful, it makes me want to go buy the model and build it! Love the desaturated grey color on her. The warbird variants are really frakkin cool-looking. Someone commented that the effects are ALMOST AS GOOD as those on Next Generation. I think you far surpassed them. The "camera" moves are done so dynamically while still looking elegant and well-composed. Superb graphics!

  • I haven't read much backstory to this battle. Why didn't they raise their shields initially after the first bird decloacked and fired??

  • You did a really great job with this. Congratulations.

  • Wow - A lot of work went into this! And it looks great! Thanks!

  • the effects are almost at par with the ones seen in the TNG series

great work guys, keep it up

  • One of the best made fan videos I have ever seen! Really a amazing job.

  • THIS IS AMAZING!! you need to make your own star trek series!

  • well done sir

  • The journey of the Enterprise is non-stop.

  • I enjoyed every frame of that. Thank you for posting.

  • The Plaque at the end is an excellent touch.

  • Great work!

  • VideoSpaceFX I would like to say thank you for filling in the gaps to the demise of the Enterprise C. It was well told. If I were a movie producer I would hire you all to make this one piece . I all ways wondered how the battle would play out

  • when do you make new videos? :)

  • @Bird1612

    When I can... :)

  • very well done - great to see a visualisation that isnt kick spock yawn etc plus something only spoken of in TNG. hope you do more

  • shields up kaptin?

  • @chereadnine

really..why would they just let their ship be shot to bits?

  • in my opinion garrett was on par with harriman as captain of the enterprise. They were no kirk, or picard, or even.....archer

  • I honestly like your design for the older class warbirds and I wish it would be made canon.

  • this video should have way more views its great work

  • @Holty2k6

Thanks alot. I'm more than happy with 92,000+ views.

  • Does anyone ever wonder if our leaders ever take anything away from a good sit-down in the theatre watching Star Trek? They really should.

  • @PaletFire

It's not just our leaders though I think it's people in general - their attitudes and prejudices. Maybe only something like a terrible Third World War would bring about the changes on Earth we see in Star Trek.

  • @VideoSpaceFX It would be a moneyless system that would bring about those changes. As we speak many people and countries are already starting to go that way. I already know how to fix the economy getting a system like that in is very difficult and would require everyone to just say we wanted it, because the moment the whole world comes together and decides that it happens, it will happen. Soon too. You should see me trying to fix the economy soon, a better future follows.

  • This was excellent. Its a shame that they couldn't use this in the story line. This was a great job.

  • Very cool and well made video! I really like the design you did for the Romulan ships of that era.

  • i wouldnt dog on your work, i like watching these vids. stories are good too

  • I didn't like every shot (mostly due to the ships not having enough "weight" in some shots) but a LOT of really really nice cinematic staging, lighting and rendering! Excellent overall!!

  • Nicely done~!

  • Fantastic piece of work.

  • Impressive. I hope to see more of your work.

  • Freakin Awesome!!!!!

  • Wow ihave no words exep maybe beautifull.......

  • I think the sound effects came from bridge commander

  • Klingons don't send distress signals. They send "Having a glorious battle and dying a warrior's death over here, feel free to join in on the festivities" broadcasts. It probably sounds cooler in the native tongue.

  • Doesn't quite have the same feel with Jean-Luc Picard stumbling around in a shaky bridge.
