  • Why do I look like the one with the problem? Maybe because I put up with too much for too long. Cyber romance crap from him. Blackeyes, bruises, hair pulled out!

  • What a great band...Tips hat

  • I miss Dr Hook and the days of his music

  • Love This Song !

  • 21 ppl don't like sharing the night together.

  • Where the hell is music like this TODAY?

  • what year did This song come out ?

  • @carmesundae2 1978

  • I just hope music gets revived back to it's glory.

  • Man i can never forget all thses back in da day songs...

  • "hey babe I'm feeling limp, would you like to take a skimp? take off those panties, let's get scantily nude, is that rude?... let me be your lovin' dude"

  • 18 and i love it , brought up with this music <3 :)

  • Woooow So nice song..... I miss those time ;o(

  • I used to listen to this with my old girl friend when we would go skiing in Liberty , PA. back in the 70's. She was a great person. R.I.P. Donna Semper Fi jimc I think this is a great song and I'm 73.

  • @jimslink wow so back then you were just 43 years old ?

  • If the sound in this clip is from a live show, all i can say is fuckin WOW, that's so mellow and just killer... I was born in '74, but I miss the 70s like I grew up then....what a great song, and a great time...

  • Gotta love cruising down memory lane!!! What a sweet ride...

  • had the pleasure to watch them in person at the hard rock cafe

  • I was 14 when this fabulous song came out. It was an instant "slow dance" favorite.

In the late '70s, you could sense that the REALLY good songs were starting to run out. You could hear a synthetic edge was creeping in...you could sense the erosion of artistic integrity and public discernment. But songs like this were still as good as anything. It's not surprising that we all still love this song 33 years later.

  • Ahhhh the good memories of soft rock!

  • Came across this the other day. it was like finding an old friend. Too cool. i was just a kid when this came out but I remember it rocked the roller rink back in the day.

  • I was born in 76 and wish that i was old enough in the 70's to really enjoy all the great things about the 70's like coke, disco, singer song writer songs while in love, and lots of great free sexxx lol I live in NYC and I feel that NYC was best in the 70's even with all the crime.

  • I could just sit & listen 2 him sing... wish I was sitting & he was singing directly 2 me! His voice mesmerizes me! :)

  • @1970sarteaga You are so right, his voice is so sexually mesmerizing.

  • essa musica e demaisssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss......

  • im 16 and think dr hook is the best band of all time

  • @czcaddy Im 41 and think the same : )

  • They have used this music in so many films, I CAN'T BELEIVE the younger generation has not seen how beautiful it is. If they would just take the time to listen to it. 5 minutes is all. It tells about life, love and how to become a responsible citizen in this world.

  • gosto muito´´ ......

  • this was reai crossover music, all colors loved it.

  • Ah..memorie from my first crush..lalal together ...sigh

  • Cheesy 70's love songs like this one are the best :)

  • Excellent video. He is truly missed. What a talent!

  • long way from "Cover of the Rolling Stone"

  • 19 people cant be cured by a doctor

  • Great Great music I'm only 27 years old but I love this music they just don't make it like this anymore

  • simple yet so beautiful, this song brings a tear to my eye

  • Mr Hook's chat up technique makes Glenn Quagmire's look subtle. Any woman who would agree to shag you if you sat down next to her and said "I'm lonely, are you lonely too? Let's do some perfunctory dancing then go to my room and bang' must be insane.

  • @ProjectFlashlight612 no wonder your old lady wanted a dildo for christmas

  • I had forgotten about this one . Man I miss this music .

  • I still love dr hook even though they went barry gibb on this one!!

  • @lukem2509 lol ultimate cheese but still catchy tune

  • I love Dr.Hook he was the best to me this is my kind of music this is a classic...what a great voice...So peaceful

  • OH, WOW!! A Ovation Breadwinner guitar!! I would like to find one of them!!

  • dr hook is the man from way back, my kind of music

  • Music in the 60's and 70' was the best, no doubt. From my perspective the music in the 60's was more raw and more refined in the 70's.

  • reminds my younger years elementary that love this song too wow relaxing

  • Everyone thinks that the 60's was the decade of great rock and roll but without a doubt the 70's is where it happened. I was in HS from 76-80 and it seems as though a great album came out weekly. There are one hit computer generated artist today. But i have to admit it Katy Perry song writing is pretty good

  • I remember hearing dr hook when I was a kid. Brings back happy feelings. This is one of my favorites.

  • Wish they still played music like this these days. Instead of machines making all the noises :-/

  • PARA MI UNA DE LAS MEJORES CANCIONES DE AMOR QUE NUNCA MAS VOLVERAN HACERSE..PRECIOSA !!!!!

  • This is the Dr. Hook I remember. Saw them four times in the late 70's, early 80's. Always a great show. Especially in the small venues where I saw them.

  • I believe that, in 1979, Dr. Hook was starting to find their sound. Too bad they didn't have any success in The 80's. They would've fit in nicely.

  • I only wish I could go back to those days and do it all over again. Magical times, magical moments my hubby and I dancing to all the great songs (slow ones that is) My little country boy didn't do the upbeat ones and I never liked country songs. What a pair we were. I wish he were here now so I could dance one more dance with him.

  • carajoooo...voy a llorar!!!

  • To this day there is no music that compares to the 70'S. 70'S always has and always will rock!!!! <3

  • you know i have never had the guts to go up to a guy and tell him what i want and spend the night together.

  • ooooooohh the memories! :) I sure miss those days!! But, I am thankful we had them!! 70s rule!

  • Bello Bello lo más lindo Dr. Hook que bella música por siempre...

  • Que música é essaaaaa, muito linda! Já gostava dela desde a novela em 1979! Xonadão!

  • Hey everyone I grew up and on this music and lived through it. lol

  • @wdk102859 ME TOO..LOVE IT

  • @wdk102859 me too

  • @wdk102859 so did I LOL

  • U know, the thing about music back then was that it was ALL about the music. Great musicians writing from the heart, then performing in jeans and just being themselves on stage. Today we have artists singing songs that were written in a factory of faceless writers then going on stage decked out in glitter & makeup and in order to win a crowd they feel they need to talk politics or talk pro homosexuality, etc. Man, I miss honest music. It's still out there, but hard to find.

  • I just got this CD today, man I didn't think I missed this time in my life so much, wish I could go back there again. It was the best.

  • So sappy....so...awesome!

  • is that wady waschell ?

  • i owned the 8 track.. good ole dayz

  • Hey darrengillett1965 It's all about the MUSIC, not the people. Each Gen has their hero's. Hatin' is just wrong. I can find enjoyment in every genre and every generation. If you can't, you don't like music, just yours.

  • kewl song and very sweet!!!!

  • one of the best song i always wanted to hear...classic songs still the best!soothing and always relaxing.

  • Are you mad? It's about two adults meeting in a bar or something and possibly hooking up ...Sharing the night together? How can you bring something disgusting into a beautiful song. Stupid/Freaky Mother.Really, visit your GP for help. Quite worrying

  • @queenienan1 : I was a junior high student when this song came out. Most of us had our first real slow dance to it. We weren't thinking about one night stands or anything. It was and still is a great song. The song could easily be about 2 people who have known each other for years but have decided to give it a go.

  • @SuperJessie212 Yes it was slow and easy for that time of innocents

  • I love Dr. Hook...but this song after listening to it after years..sounds like the Pedophile theme song...LOL
