  • oh my...i think the daily intake of sodium is supposed to be 2.2k or 2.4k or something right?....this single bowl of noodle gives u 3.2k o_O

  • 3.2g NaCl!

  • 5 start !!!!

  • Give the Guiness World Record to tontantin!

  • That soup base, looks godly.

But according to tontantin, it sort of makes it look "manufactured", I wonder...

  • @Clear1

What the hell does that mean?

  • Wow 3.2 grams of sodium

that is 120% of your daily salt uptake in one bag of noodles....don't drink the soup

  • 外国で外国の麺ばかり食べていると、こういう日本のハイテク麺が恋しくなります...

  • Looks like a soup. D:

  • little bit runny for me

  • 1 gram = 1000 milligrams

Come on people, it's not hard!

  • Fool ! Callumas

You have NO idea how much 3.2 grams of sodium is ! It s 120% of your daily sodium uptake in one bag of noodles !!

  • When they say 3.2g of sodium in this, it actually means there is 3.2g of sodium CHLORIDE, meaning there is only 1.6g of sodium - almost half of the recommended amount.

Most of the burgers and potato snacks you eat exceed 3g anyway.

  • there is one mole of sodium per mole of salt.

  • @mehdan2

This has got to be the dumbest comment ever. As if people measure things in moles.

  • @Vxamt

Some people actually do. It's more accurate btw.

  • @mehdan2

Erm, maybe chemists doing experiments? But if you're cooking and looking at nutrition....it's more practical to say something like: 1 gram of salt has ~0.4g of Sodium.

  • @Vxamt

You don't have to be a professional chemist to think that way, just some high school chemistry is enough.

  • But he was right about the burgers and potato snacks bit. Go to any Mcdonald's and check out their menus. Not one item is under the daily recommendation other than the shakes and and maybe a few salads. Hell, a bowl of cheerios has more sodium in it than a serving of ruffles potato chips. The average American diet has 3000 to 5000 milligrams of sodium. If your really worried about Sodium intake then pay very close attention to all the food you buy, you'd be VERY surprised.

  • The average American diet includes breakfast lunch and dinner based on fast food OF course will surpass the daily rec sodium intake. There's a good documentary about that.

This little bag of noodles contains in one meal surpasses the rec daily sodium intake.

So I agree with you, but don't let that justify any mitigation of the negative health effects of this particular brand of noodle.

  • it also contains a good dose of monosodium glutamate (MSG) to give you cancer.

  • OM NOM NOM NOM

  • 3,200mg of Sodium??!?!

    damn!

  • 3,2 grams

  • That actually looks quite good =o
