Only real difference is GH5 uses a studio version rather than a live version. Studio versions tend to sound cleaner and more polished, but whether or not that makes them "better" is purely a matter of opinion. IMO it depends on the song; some sound better live ("Wilson" by Phish is a great example of that; and especially "For Those About to Rock" by AC/DC), some sound better as studio versions.

@dynelol How? GH is so shitty, it has pretty much NO DLC, they release a crazy amount of games every year because they rush them and don't take their time. GH 1 and 2 were good because Harmonix made them, GH 3 was ok, GHWT was ok, everything else sucked. Aerosmith? I have that game and yea the songs are awesome but it looks so shitty. Van Halen? What a piece of shit. Band hero? DJ Hero? haha

The guitar is better and so are the song selections for the disks. I also prefer the circles to the bars. Look at how much they overcharted Ramblin' Man in RB2.
