This guitar is somewhat unusual in that I've had a custom neck made for it by Saul Koll in Portland, OR. The body is a Goodall, but the longer neck allows me to detune it down a minor 3rd. The low string rings out at C#. The neck isn't quite full baritone in length. I found that with the original scale length the guitar wouldn't play in tune well with this low tuning and heavy strings. I'm using a standard D'Addario set (EJ18 .014 - .059).

Nice playing! I suppose it should be blues in d ha. Sound nice tuned even lower - what gauge strings do you need to use?
