Skimboardmonster or Idiots et al,This is one of the most forward thinking man in America. The green technology movement, if we can past bone heads like you will give us another chance to rule the worlds economy. This is the second industrial revolution. If we educate and use our talented workforce, keep the Wall Street corporate thieves from giving away our best ideas and industry, for next quarters profits, we will rule the earth, not with tanks and bombs but with the new manufacturing boom.
@Sdholmes01, You need to understand a little better, Even if you're right, Try to understand, Name calling isn't needed, Understanding is. It's a set up.. I'm here because I have found another connection to our destruction. Say what you want to, That's not what I mean, Look at the comments, Their lost. Many are. We are being led to death by even the most astounding people. They may not know it, But they are. just watch for those colors.
Tom, this may come as a surprise, however the ability to manipulate the weather has existed for quite some time. The Chinese government frequently utilized these methods during the Bejing olympics.
On a more important note. This man is not working for the truth, he's working for the investment class. I'm amazed that people don't laugh in response to the fact that he presents himself as a journalist.
The Copenhagen Consensus argued that it is SO unlikely that we can fix it for any reasonable amt of money, that wed see far greater gains to provide clear water for everyone on the planet, and do it for about 1/10 of the cost. Kyoto certainly WONT fix anything, esp. when India and China are not under the same compulsions. Any company that wants to get out of the cap and trade regs would simply move to one of those countries.

Industrial growth, the commodification of nature, and the voracious need for ever-higher profits (all wrought by capitalism) are primary reasons for the straits we're in now. As Edward Abbey said, "Growth for the sake of growth is the ideology of the cancer cell." Until we tackle that, we'll always be on the brink.
