Like my dog, she is 12 (now passed away) - but i would rough house with her, but if the children stood on her paw or tail (by accident, they said sory) she would just walk away, but she would let them cuddle her, she just wouldnt play roughly with them, like with tug of war, she was not interested to play it with them, just me (16) or another older person.

so yeah they can :) - they can sense illness and cancers as well, hence why they stay with you when you are ill

Labradors are very gentle. I had two yellow labs and they were amazing. I love them so much! But we had to give them up.

One was a cute but kinda chubby one. His name was Ben. The other was my best friend. He'd always wake me up and I'd stay awake with him until he went to sleep. His name was Jerry.

They're just like people and it's incredible how gentle and loving these dogs are. Highly recommended for sporting families and families in search of a great dog with kids. Or both. (=

I had a lab, a black lab. He wasn't eating right, Or we werent giving him enough idk, But sadly we moved to as house that didn't alow dogs... So we gave hime to a friend. Now he is a whopping 150 pounds, and playful as he can be :D Ican go over to see him sometimes.

OK, now I understand, I though u meant he was vicious. Lab pups are really very mouthy, but they soon get better. Give him some frozen toys, and that will calm the itchy gums, and teach him to love his chew toys.
