no, it's just that it's not really fun to play a game where on the standard equipment, around 5-10% of whatever you do doesn't get picked up by the game, and when the equipment breaks within 40 songs.

i don't want to spend more time trying to fix a set than playing the game, so i'd rather use mods and not have to worry about pad misses/broken sensors.

Good job, one thing though is you should probably play with your hands farther down the sticks. You'll be able to play faster. When you play that high up you don't get as much rebound as you should if you hold them further down you get more rebound.

Right, and i'm doing that on purpose. The goodwood kits have rebound equal to hitting a tennis racket with a drumstick, so to play them with my hands at the bottom of the stick would be figurative suicide.

As in, the rebound would basically tear my arms to pieces within a few minutes of playing.

That, and i'm used to a kit being farther out: if I were to play with my hands all the way down the sticks, i'd have to sit back, and that'd make hitting the foot pedal uncomfortable.

And just in case anyone was wondering, the RB drum kit will work for RB2, and the RB2 drum kit will work for RB. The only difference is there will apparently be clip-on cymbals for RB2 which can go on either set, though I am not sure if they will work for both RB versions. Seeing as how all the songs you have purchased on RB will be automatically transfered over to RB2 free of charge, I am assuming that the cymbals will work for both.

RB1 instruments are fully compatable w/ GH4, including drums. RB2 instruments are unsure tho, because of the major changes to the kit. If you have RB1 already, all you need to do is get the GH4 and RB2 disks. Unless you want a better drum kit, in that case go w/ RB2's

Song creator ain't gonna save GH4. When it comes to full band games, people know that Rock Band kicks arse, while GH4 isn't a sure thing. People should know that RBII is identical to RBI in gameplay, and people already have the periphrials (sp?), so the general people will most likely go with RBII over GH4, and so will I. This year might possibly be the death of the GH franchise.

It's just about the complete reverse of what happened last year with GHIII and RBI.
