Clarence has went on a real long trip now,one we all will take someday, but when it happens there wont be any broken radio,it will be the Big Man in full flow on "Jungleland"
Have been looking for this one for a long time, thank you so much for posting! Somehow, in my memory, Nils was also involved, wearing a huge, oversized cowboy hat with 'Hoboken' written on it. But I'm probably mixing up memories now...
I think you're referring to themontage of shots for the BBC Arena documentary about Springsteen. Now that was worth the licence fee, still got it on VHS!
I just wanna say GOD BLESS all of you, GOD BLESS the BOSS, and GOD BLESS the person who posted this!! (haha sorry that sounded religious...but the gypsy CALLED it when she said to The Boss and Clarance "you're gonna go a long way"). BOSS AND E STREET 4 EVER!
I used to purposely NOT have anthing to drink before one of his shows so that I didn't have to 'hit the Porta-potty'. YOU don't wanna miss one second of Bruce!
For a part of the show that was supposed to be a bit of fun, this is incredibly moving. Thanks for posting - I'd only seen part of it before, in a BBC documentary in 1985.
Somewhere in the Springsteen vaults. The pro-shot Paris '85 show that is being 'released' soon will hopefully make Mr S and Mr Landau produce an official release of LA '85 sooner rather than later.
That would be great. I had tickets for what was to be the first night in L.A. When the band was snowed in in Denver it moved night one to the last night. It worked out in my favor, it was the last night of the Born In The USA tour. It would be great to see that on a dvd.
The best video of Bruce. The best video on youtube

I can't believe I've actually managed to hold on to Bruce's left leg in Stockholm 2009. I've touched a living legend.

Nils wore the Hoboken cowboy hat during Cadillac Ranch. I think he wore it at almost every show during that tour.

nathan .. i disagree. I never understood hitting the rest room during a Bruce concert. I'd rather pee my pants.
It's a GREAT song and an even better story.

@DeHenning01 I never drink at a Bruce show either :) Hope we get one real soon!

Pretty funny, but this is still the part of the show where most of the crowd would be hitting the Porta potties or buying T-shirts.
