  • brooke shields looked like she didnt even pay him mind and thought he was weird when they were friends. she looked like she only spoke to him when it was convenient which was on rare occasions.

    stevie wonder made me cry

  • Micheal Jackson was the besT!!

  • i was cryin buckets

  • i miss the king of pop he inspired me to who i am now singing and doing the moonwalk and thats what i am doing now i have love him since i was 2 R.I.P michael jackson i am very proud of you right now R.I.Pxxxx

  • Skorpion this is a great review video of MJ's memorial. I watched & recorded the whole thing, and it was the BEST memorial ever. When they rolled the casket in it made it soo much more final. I cried on and off the entire time, and the performers were magnificent. When Usher sang "Gone Too Soon" I had tears streaming down my face. As u said, people need to remember MJ NOT the way he died, but for all he did..He wanted to make the world a better place :)

  • You said that! I really really loved when Usher sang too!!! I couldn't stop crying girl either.

  • i thought that it was a very respectful memorial skorpion , Janet Jackson will be an amazing mother to those kids if they only let her - she iddolises them as do they her. The media always look for the bad it took them ten years plus to stop going on abouth the Princess of Wales. Yes i agree al the performers were great - stevie Wonder - what a man

  • so sad the king of pop is dead

  • micheal jackson aka king of pop will never be dead

  • STFup who cares what you think. a bunch of look at me losers and see how I care with the camera onl. close that stupid trap.

  • my heart sunk to my stomach when i found out about michael....i couldn't watch that memorial...it hurts me to know that all he wanted to do was help make the world a better a place...and he was treated like that...he lives through his music but a big chunk of me went right with him =[.

  • MARIAH's voice is NO LONGER POWERFUL!!

search this video.. this is MARIAH called REGINE as BROWN MONKEY can sing??!!

    1. Regine Velasquez & Billy Crawford - I'll be there

    2. Regine Velasquez - I'll Be There

  • I was in tears through the entire memorial. I'm still crying about Michael. It was a beautiful service. Very moving.

  • I am shocked and saddened by Michael's death. It's so easy to knock the ones who dare to life their heads above the rest. This was a gifted human... I'm 59 and remember when. God bless his poor shy soul.

  • Hell it would have been an honor if I was molested by Michael jackson. Just fooling. People always point to the fact that he settled the first charge by paying 20 mil. well many celebrities do that just to stop all the publicity. He was sued by many parasites for many reasons as anyone famous or well off. Nothing new. God Bless Michael

  • thanks for posting this video!!!! R.I.P Michael Jackson forever the king of pop....

  • Thank you for posting this, his music and legacy will live forever and ever his talent will never be match or replace he forever be the King of Pop Michael Jackson we love you R.I.P.

  • shut up seafood09 you dont michael hes an icon you dumb

    f@*#!er

  • that boy that said that mj molested him confessed that he lied so get it right he never molested anyone

  • 1st off i never thought he was a child moleser apparently America did so before u criticise read the comment 1st LMFAO i bet u were siding wit America wen they called him a child moleser DAMN I CANT STAND HYPOCRISY ) =<

  • I loved the whole thing. I really started to break down when Usher started singing. He did a wonderful job. And what really got the tears flowing was when Michael's daughter came up there and said a few words. It was so touching.

  • Al Sharpton, Jermaine and Paris WOW!!!!! Everybody did a great job!

  • MUST SEE!!!: youtube(dot)com(slash) watch?v=aoEd5VKZlSg

PLEASE PASS THIS LINK ON TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW (too bad more people hadn't seen this BEFORE MJ passed on)!

  • it was a beautiful tribute to michael. I cried when most of them performed. and the speeches. Michael, you will always be remembered. You are a true legend. I thank god he put you on earth. I love you michael

  • Yeah i think Mariah was having trouble because of her emotions. The whole thing was amazing, it really made you realize how Michael was a huge part of all our lives.

    <3 Marissa

  • Thanks dude! I could have not said it better myself.

    Love you Michael 4 ever!

    You have saved my life!!!

    I will miss you :'o(

  • mariah recently said on twitter that she apaligized 4 the horrible performance she said it was just sooo hard 4 her 2 c michael there n the casket she said she couldnt get it together!!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, you really got to me. I am proud to say I've been crying for days now and can't stop. Seeing your video now made me cry but GOOD tears. TY!! I'd like to Learn to Post a Video Response. Can you help me please?

  • Thanks for this video bro!!

  • I Cried trough the whole thing especially when paris spoke..

  • when I saw brooke shields i was glad because for years everybody wondered what was their relationship, and she went up there and spoke of the times of friends, and paris had me crying

  • Beyonce didn't perform. I guess the Jacksons don't bow to Matthew Knowles cuz you know he was working to get her on that show.

RIP Michael. I cried the whole way through.

  • the show, Inside Edition, said the Michael Jackson memorial/funeral was one of the top 10 most watched events in the history of television. This wasnt counting the internet or radio. So it probably was really up there (top 5 or something).

  • What happen to Mariah, she can't hit those notes. Her voice was really flat.

  • i guess she was crying or something.. i dont kno but mariah usally can deliver a song idk why that was

  • She (Mariah) was trying to hold her emotion.

  • It was a lovely memorial/funeral...i starting crying when they brought out his casket with the choir singing :gone to see the king" OMG! Also when his brother Marlon spoke at the end, that was heart breaking! His daughter seemed like she wanted to really say something more but she couldnt, May God bless those children and protect them

  • No Kenny Ortage needs to work for BET cause this was his production. He did a lovely job for MJ. This was a memorial for a true king! Now do i think his body was actually in that casket? no! for some reason i feel MJ was barried prior to the public service. Everyone was great... even tho mariah sounded a lil off i will gie her credit cause she was singing to a friend a her emotions chocked her up. My Favs were John Mayer and Usher. They Killed it. I was in tears from Brooke on.

  • People need to realize that MJ could not have been in that casket, although it is his casket that he will buried in. but because those doctors are still doing the autopsy (which they said it could take up to 60 days) i'm sure they still have his body.

    idk.

RIP baby..i miss you dearly. my heart is still hurting! :(

  • No, ghoulish as it sounds, his body is there but the coroner only has the brain. It may be why they're holding the body until the brain can be returned.

  • Yeah, that was the most dignified and classy memorial I have ever witnessed. It was put together by the guy who directed the High School Musical movies. He and the Jackson Family, especially Katherine Jackson collaborated and did a beautiful job. Michael would be so proud. And his kids? OMG Paris showed so much grace and courage! He raised them well. I'm still crying today.

  • Omg I know! I was crying 2! When Paris spoke - I was done :[ sooo sad

They didnt want his body there because they were afraid of people cuz God knows there are so many crazy people around, but they had 1/3 of the police force there and I am glad that every1 there was respectful to the family and friends :]

  • A great memorial, I agree with you I didnt really breakdown crying til usher sang and I really cried when Paris Jackson spoke.... WOW ........... I great celebration of his life definitely.............

  • grollins1429 calling the Michael Jackson Memorial service "tacky" is like calling the 2009 BET Awards "The best tribute I ever seen them do for anybody." KNOWING THAT IS A LIE! The Jacksons only had a few days to plan the event for Michael Jackson(THEY PULLED IT OFF). BET only had a few days to plan a tribute to Michael Jackson (THEY DIDN'T PULL IT OFF~Didn't even come close)

  • it was great memorial

  • Now that was a homegoing celebration!

  • Yeszz I loved the memorial service. It truly was a beautiful home going service, very organized and incredible. Great speeches and uhh the kids my heart goes out to them.

  • YES THIS IS WHAT A HOMEGOING IS

  • we talkin about someone has ppl but all you can say is someone sounding bad. thats just bein selfish

  • Rev. Al Sharpton did FABULOUS! So wonderful what he said to those kids, Pastor Lucious Smith, Bernice King, the producer Kenny Ortega. Trey did save the song, I think Mariah was emotional and thats why her voice sounded shaky... Jermaine did good, Stevie wonder did gr8.. but it was a little LONG. ..but i understand. John mayer.. lovely music. .. Mr. Gordy did good. we know Jennifer was AMAZING as always. USHER USHER USHER.. did it BIG. a few audio problems when Shaheen sang.. but it worked out.

  • ya, it was SUPER SAD @ the end when little paris talked. She only spoke a few words, but those words were spoken with courage and pride, and thats what made everyone connect with her and the family. The WHOLE tribute was amazing. I hope B.E.T. was taking notes! lol. .. but foreal, it was amazing. Brook, Magic, kobe, the CONGRESSWOMAN!! She was awesome, Marlon at the end, Queen Latifa readin' that poem by Dr. Angelou.. HISTORY WAS MADE YESTERDAY! USHER.. so moving and respectful. TREY LORENZ ( :

  • It was such a fitting service for the King

  • Yeah when paris came on i had to change the channel cuz i would've broken down with her.... so sad i can only imagine what it would be like to lose my mom.

  • it was also moving to see the jackson family so strong together at the end, all the things that have been said about them in the past, doesnt matter, they love each other, they love those kids and i know they will look after michaels brand with respect and dignity (hopefully)

  • "Your father wasnt strange, it was strange with what he had to deal with", "Michael Jackson The Greatest Performer that Ever Lived". probably the most memorable words said and when Paris spoke, shit i broke down right with her. but overall a great memorial. bet shoulda done way betta but there is noway they could have pulled off anything like this in 3 days, and thats not excusing them bcuz their show sucked ass and im still mad about it.

  • I couldnt believe that Debra Lee had the nerve to come to the Memorial service after that sad tribute to Mike !! I cant look at B.E.T no more

  • agreed!

  • showing love.. i love all of your videos i subscribed to your channel.. make sure to subscribe back thanks.

  • Umm, I hope you know Mariah was crying. It's hard to keep composire(spelt it wrong) and sing. And Mariah didn't really sound bad. You need to block grollins1429.

  • You are so right - ppl puttinf MC down, come on! It was a hard time, and I know she was singing. To be so... ugh. Yeah, he helped her out and kept the song from being totally washed out, but she still did her best considering what was happening.

  • yea michael jackson's tribute was so beautiful from beginning to end from the pics to da performers like i know michael would have been proud my fav quote throughout da service was from rev. al sharpton"aint nothin strange bout yo daddy it was strange wat yo daddy had to go through" nd when usher got up their thats when i started crying im like aww man nd then marlon broke down nd paris tears were jus comin u would have thought he was my brother lol

  • uuuu daaaaamn right...it was really emotional..specially the lil girl paris jackson

  • The MJ tribute was sensational I luved it. Tbh I think Shaheen Jafargholi was the best singer there. I loved when Marlon Jackson said something like "maybe now they'll leave you alone" (to the haters). Coz no one can do anything to him now.

  • I loved the tribute and you're right BET should have done this instead of putting on the whack ass Drake and Lil' Wayne performance. Al Sharpton was my favorite part.

  • Loved the tribute. I tried to make a comment yesterday on your last video skorpion but it didnt' post.

  • Are you saying "kilt it" at 0:57? Also, if you wish to inspire others, stop talking about celebrities as if you know them. This memorial proves that we only know what the media portrays.

  • the memorial was great, the singing from everyone was perfect even if they brokedown a couple of times, some stories that people said were very funny about micheal and i think it really did to everyone by surprise when paris came up i felt very sad when she cried

  • every one cried... I HAVEN'T SEEN THE MEMORIAL YET, so ill be sure to do that

  • The memorial was moving especially at the beginning as the casket enters and the choir singin.

**sorry i haven't read through the comments but the kid that sang his socks off was

Shaheen Jafargholi from wales (in the UK) he was in the top ten for the Britain got talent show over here**

    Keep them videos cummin. x

  • its cuz BET was mad ignorant

  • I cried the whole time.

His children are beautiful, and I'm so proud of how strong and loving the Jackson family is.

  • You took the words right out of my mouth.

  • Thank you for saying what i feel.....

  • The Memorial was beautiful, tasteful and sombering. The performances were heartfelt and touching and made me tear up. When Paris spoke about her father thats when I really lost it. I love my daddy and I know when he goes to the Lord, I will be a mess. R.I.P. Michael...may you find the peace and solace and recognition that you didn't receive while you were still here. I know you saw us all greiving and celebrating your blessing that you left us with. You will be sorely missed and loved. Always.

  • I couldn't stop crying and as i am typing I'm still crying it was a amazing tribute. The parts that killed me was Brooke Sheilds speech and Ushers Performance and Stevie's Performance and finally Paris' closing remarks.

  • This was an excellent tribute I couldn't stop crying. The senator said the black caucus stop work that day for a moment of silent prayer.

  • I cried when Brooke Sheilds spoke when Jermaine sang, when usher almost broke down. I love what Al Sharpton had to say to the children their father needed that. The media even said "when his daughter Paris spoke & broke down even the most sinical of reporter were touch and if you didn't cry I would seem to wonder if your human."

  • i never cried for ANY celebrity that has passed away, there is TRUELY SOMETHING special about michael

  • it was a touching memorial... i thought mariah did good, she said it herself she was choking up and not trying to fall aprart, his body was right there.. so please stop saying she lost it.. Michael would have been super proud of her, she made that song #1 the second time.. I luv it.. God Rest His Soul...

  • It was AWESOME!!!Done with SOOOO much class!!!

  • Paris made me cry :(

    That's was beautiful.

  • The memorial was beautiful!!! BET should be ashamed of their so called "tribute", but this isn't about BET so I'll leave it at that.

As a second generation MJ fan - the memorial was hard for me to watch. His passing was all so surreal until I saw the casket being wheeled into the arena. I had a hard time keeping myself together and broke down a few times. At one point I said, "I'm not going to cry anymore" but when Paris said what she did at the end - I couldn't help myself.

  • and i also feel like it would have saved michael jackson a lot of heartache and stress from the media if he took brooke shields by his side [as his wife].

  • People forget that kids are involved with this tragedy, and i think that it hit everyone when his daughter spoke. I just hope that whatever happens, they do whats best for the kids, because thats whats most important, not all the bullshit the media talks about.

  • yea it was REALLY good..some of my fave parts were john mayer and stevie..and his daughter had me GONE..omg, it was wonderful b/c it wasn't too over-the-top it was respectful and juss..phenomenal. they remembered him the right way.

  • The Memorial was simply Beautifull. I couldn't watch it Live, so I DVR'd it from CNN. I watched it as soon as I got home. Al Sharpton's speech was GREAT! He said it all, and the Family needed those things to be said. I broke down when Usher cried and Marlon Jackson spoke. MJ was my PRINCE CHARMING and Brooke Sheilds let her PRINCE get away. Bless Jackson Family and MJ's sweet children.

  • I thought the service was beautiful. I like how everybody showed that MJ was a real person. Like when Magic tripped that MJ ate KFC. That was special to me because it just showed that he was human inspite of what the media says about him. He will truly be missed

  • The way they did it was so classy and surreal. I heard that it was about 2.5 billion people that watched it worldwide.

Also on a side note someone please tell Ciara that we don't know who that lady was but that is how you sing Heal the World.

  • great memorial

  • when michaels daughter on the stage, i lost it, i was crying so hard.

  • yeah thats when it hit me

  • The memorial was done in such a loving and respectful way...Michael deserved such a wonderful send off...So sad...His children are in my prayers...They lost such a wonderful father...God bless you and R.I.P. Michael Joseph Jackson...Thank you for you magic, mystery and music...I lost a huge piece of my childhood...I will truly miss you!!!

  • I agree..this was an amazing tribute/memorial service.

  • maya angelo did it agian , that poem that queen latifah read omg amaazin, and my best performance was stevie wonder that song ws soo good, and the entrance song when the casket came in was offcial. i loved it

  • WOW...GREAT Tribute to Michael beginning to end...(Paris Jackson thank you for showing Michael Jackson in a new light, he was in deed human, he was a person with feelings and most of all he was a father who loved his children and hopefully now the media will respect that as well (I put his children especially in my prayers)

(Side note: BET (Producer Stephen Hill) take note that was a tribute)!!!!!

  • it was an amazing ceremony

  • I loved it it was so moving from all the speeches to the performances and when marlon broke down when he was speaking i cried. And then little paris, o it was over so sad.

  • it was a really nice service but i thought it would have been more, however it was nice to have a oppertunity to say goodbye.

  • great memorial, his little girl was sooooo sad. i could have gone all day without seeing sharptons ass.

  • i liked it but i dnno where were the singers that actually were around Michael Ex: Paytty Labelle Gladys knight ...... u kno them they got it right with stevie but i dnno i was cool with usher mariah was ok if her notes werent broken... The little man from Britans got talent can blow no doubt i will give him that much credit. but i dnno he wasent around michael u kno what im saying? None the less it was nice but i wanted to see some of the artist that were actually around him

  • The Memorial Was Beautiful. When They Sand Soon & Very Soon I Cried And When Paris Cried I Balllleeddd. && Shenah(sp) from Britians Got Talent Killed It That Little Boy Got A Blessing On Him.

  • Usher had me ballingggg, and Jermaine even. When they broke down, I broke down. IMPECCABLE tribute to an impeccable man.

  • beautiful service

  • It was such a beautiful service. It put BET's tribute to shame. Everything was just wonderful. I really enjoyed Al Sharpton's and Marlon's eulogies. But when Paris spoke about Michael, it brought me to tears. Mike has finally been put to rest now and may he rest in peace. It has been amazing to see how many people's lives he has touched since he passed. He was the best entertainer ever and no amount of negative media coverage will ever be able to take that away from him.

  • J Hud tore that song up!

    CHECK OUT MY FASHION BLOG!

    BAGPOORdotBLOGSPOTdotCOM

  • i agree with you i don't care if bet had three days to do it, they keep talking about being in the game you have to be ready for anything, to me if ur in the music buiss then three day is way more time, the jacksons did they thing i love it they should so take over BET, i love every thing about it CNN is the best, FOX CAN FUCKIN EAT ASS FOR ALL I CARE.

  • because no matter how much we loved him that was her child, her son. I am a mother of 3 so my heart kept hurting for her. Because when it is all said and done she has to bury her baby boy. I hope and pray she gets custody of her grandbabies she needs them and they need her. My heart goes out to his siblings, and his children. No matter how much we loved him his family has to learn to live without him here on earth. Lord Bless and Keep them. Thank you for posting this for us. RIP MJ!

  • i LOVED THE MEMORIAL SERVICE IT WAS EXCELLENT! FROM THE PERFORMANCE TO THE SPEECHES LOVED EVERY MOMENT OF IT. R.IP MICHEAL HE LIVES ON FOREVER!

  • You ended that video so beautifully. My husband and I both watched the memorial and were in tears. Yes me and my husband held each other and cried. My 14 year old son didn't understand. But Michael Jackson meant so much to us. Especially if you grew up in the 80's. His music was the soundtrack to my child hood. I remember being 10 and so in love with him lol lol. You could not tell me I wasn't going to marry Michael Jackson! The service was beautiful. But I kept thinking about Katherine,

  • I love the memorial, I don't think that I could be that strong. When my sister pass away I couldn't get up to say anything. Mariah did the best she could do at the time. And I know Micheal said well done and I love you to everyone. Today.everything went so well. I couldn't hold back my tears. When his daughter said what she had to say. Please pray for the family. we all need prayer

  • I agree with you about Mariah me and my husband both said she had probably been up crying all night so how could she sing? She did the best she could.

  • This was the best memorial I have ever seen. This was a memorial, worth watching. I teared up when Paris spoke about her father. Usher did a wonderful job on his performance. Stevie Wonder did a wonderful job. Shaheen did a wonderful job. I could go on and on. Oh yeah, the speeches were great as well.

    R.I.P. Michael Joseph Jackson

  • Lorez did not kill Mariah or save the song. People are really dramatic. He helped make the song sound good, he didn't own the song. Mariah did decent. She can't still sound like a perfect angel after all these years, dang. Voices do change. yall being harsh.

  • This is what Mariah had to say on twitter, "Sorry that I wasn't able to pull it together and really do it right, but I was literally choked up when I saw him there in front of me". Don't be too hard on her guys. I would be choked up too if I lost a friend.

  • it was a great memorial it was so glad to see the people that played a part in michaels like r.i.p. mj rest in peace

  • ok...who is this guy and why am I watching his commentary

  • i watched it 2 ! i couldnt stop cryin either . especially when everyone started singin his songs

shaheen was from britains got talent

he got invited to sing at one of his convcerts :'(

  • That was a beautiful memorial - Tre Lorenz but it down - Mariah did a real shitty Job - She should have done better then that - tre had to bring it because her part was some shit

  • it's not her fault, she has vocal noduels first off and secondly she said on her twitter once she saw Michael in front of her she lost it, so unless you can even sing, let alone sing with vocal nodules WHILE standing infront of your dead friend don't call her performance shit because the womans been belting out some of literally the hightest notes ever for damn near 20 years
