Mel Brooks, in these types of scenes, wings his lines...i.e., like Johnny Winters he does NOT rehearse and has NO set dialogue, but makes up "whatever." For this reason, Paul & Jamie often react with surprise and amusement at the Schtick he Spews. I fancy that for this reason I welcomed his infrequent appearances.
