What the fuck are you talking about? He's not whacking them hard at all. Besides, that's absolutely irrelevant. He can play it however he wants. Respect has nothing to do with how you use it to perform. The fact that he has it and plays it is all the respect it needs.
@BfeoAdmin Actually, with the way the buzz bridge works, the strings are pretty tempermental to how hard you pluck them. Too soft, and you won't get the buzz. Too hard, and you lose sustain.
If you want the 'sympathetic strings' to do anything at all, turn the Sitar pickups Waaaayyy down in volume, with the sympathetic pickup full up. Then crank the amp up 'til the Sitar pickups can be heard well. The sympathetic pickups will then pick up plenty of vibration. . .and feed back like crazy!!!
I`ve owned 4 original Coral sitars in my career and would like to know how this Rogue compares to the original. The Coral model had an incredible neck that I feel is superior to the Jerry Jones reissue.....
It's authentic down to copying the design flaws of the Coral, including the goofy setback of the machine heads and the inability of adjusting the neck without pulling the pickup, among others.
The Gotoh "Buzz Bridge" (common to all these repros regardles of brand) is virtually impossible to user-adjust properly. The one in this video is *TERRIBLY* off, and about typical. I think the ones on the Jones copies are at least installed and set up properly.
Please check our video, Black Magic.
We use one of this guitar, hope you like!

See if you can adjust the bridge for proper intonation. . .as well as proper buzzing. LOL.

An electric sitar and they didn't plug it in. Thanks Gearwire!

Probably in order to cover up the poor electric sound.
