I find that greenish concealers can get the job done but typically when the tint is real real subtle but also when the formula is more moisturizing (i find that with zits a creamier formula is the best way to go- you said the one you got was drier so I would never go near a zit with it throughout the day it will dry up and look really bad) but thats just me!

concealers - I have the opposite problem. I have no use for the red ones (I wish I knew Erase Paste would be red before I bought it cos it was expensive for something I'll never use). I have a red birthmark on my left cheek that looks like a hicky, which I neutralize with the green before patting a little powder that matches the rest of my face to set it. I use yellow under my eyes cos my undereye circles are purple. My skin tone is yellow, so reddish concealer or foundations looks freaky.

Hey hon;

To blend Benetint (and all gel/stain blushes): Squirt a bit of water into the palm of your hand. Tap your fingertip(s) on the water to slightly moisten and blend your Benetint dots or swashes onto your skin. Redampen and reapply as needed. Works beautifully, can't imagine applying any other way! And, toothpaste - not gel - removes the stain from your fingers. Love your videos!!!

The green-tone concealer you can put over a blemish or something reddish so it'll neutralize the redness, then you go over it with your regular concealer... it SUPER useful! :)

Not super impressed with Benetint....it smells like roses and if you use it on your lips, y0u have to put kind of a lot to get a "tint", which makes them feel weird. I haven't tried it on my cheeks yet, though! Review!!

I only use green concealer for blemishes, like for pimples that are really red. It just helps to mask them a little, and obviously you have to put something flesh-toned over top. I can't figure out how to use them to combat large areas of redness either.

To combat the green, just put it on your red area first, let it set a minute, then cover with foundation or concealer in your chosen shade :) That's how I use mine and it works perfectly!

I really like Essence nail polishes, but love their lipsticks and "Stay with me" lipglosses even more. Their single e/s varies from one to another when it comes to quality, but those marked as either "mettalic" or "matte" have been always very good in my eyes.

The green underneath your foundation or regular concealer works well around the nose when you have broken capillaries, at least for me and I know that we have similar skin tone since I use the same Rimmel you use. Just apply lightly with a brush and then tap a bit with your finger to make it melt a bit in the skin! Hope it works for you too!

I have the urban decay setting spray. It's good, but has a lot of alcohol in it. Wayne (gossmakeupartist) and others really warn against using so much alcohol and setting sprays in general on your skin on a daily basis. For a special occasion though, I love it!

So excited to hear you'll be doing Benefit reviews! I've tried all the products you've mentioned and love them all - except the new mascara, wasn't sure I could trust the hype on it. I found Bad Gal to be a little flaky after 5 hours or so (could have been just mine tho) I tried Erase Paste after your review a while back and really liked that too and found it worked well for me. Also, looking forward to see if you feel that there may be dupes for any of the Benefit products/samples you have!

I could not live without my Essence Forget It Concealer Palette. I show it in pretty much every video that I do and it is such a bargain. I get a lot of redness on my chin and use the green for that. The peach under my eyes helps with the dark circles and I use the tan colored one as an eyeshadow base, try it works great to keep the shadows in place. xoxo Deb P.S. I miss Cupcake!

I have the ´stay, don´t stray´ and I think it´s a little bit dry, but it does the job. It claims to be a primer for the concealer also but I really don´t like it that way because it´s sooo bright and I have very bad dark circles and I don´t like this effect. Essence eyeshadows are weird. I find that their limited edition eyeshadows always rock, while the ones in their permanent range are not pigmented enough or go on spotty. But I love Essence in general! I always have that little concealer wheel in my makeup bag! The green btw is best used under a tinted powder or foundation. It counters redness and trust me, it really, really does! You just have to experiment with it a little more!
