Indo-Iranians were a community that spoke a common language prior to branching off into the Iranian & Indo-Aryan languages. (1/2) The language referred to as Proto-Indo-European (PIE): is ancestral to the Germanic, Slavic, Romance, Iranian, Indic, Albanian, and Greek languages.
There is an agreement that the PIE community split into two major groups from wherever its homeland was situated (It is not know), and whenever the timing of its dispersal. (Also not know.)

Finally some Persians claiming their roots although I don't agree with Scythians being Persian or early Aryans being horse riding/bow using nomads. Just look at Persian or other Iranian bows, until the Turks came there were no real central Asian composite bows. Or big military horse archery tradition.
That said, Persians should investigate Mede more, I believe it was a confederation of multiple Persian kingdoms. Kurds believe they are the sole descendants of Mede LOL.

People understand one thing, the southern parts of modern day Turkmenistan is from Tajiks, the ancient city Margiana was here where still 4,5 million Tajiks live.
By the way, if you look closer, in the southern parts of modern day Uzbekistan, in the famous cities Samarqand and Bukhara still live 12 million Tajiks.
Aryans were Sanskrits and they were definitely Persians.
As the indian professor says, Aryan means CIVILIZED, NOT Savage.

That's BMAC culture through which the first Indo-Iranians of Andronovo travelled on their way to Iran and India. The noble but savage nomad Aryans got civilized by agricultural BMAC people and mixed with them. That's were they (R1a) gained the J2 genes. Victor Sarianidi, of Russian Greek descent, is one of the most important experts on the archaeology of the Central Asian Iranians, but he has grown very old. He was the one who discovered the famous "Bactrian gold" treasure in the Afghan soil btw

@RealSarmatians where do you come up with such crazy assumptions, when you say, 'got civilized by' . The Sanskrit is ultimately the oldest root and evidence of Aryan language and has by far the most scientific and advanced scriptures.
