This is great! We have a juvenile Sulcata, approximately 1 yr old, and it's been a wonderful learning experience. I have a question -how much do you feed your little guy? It seems mine would eat 24/7 if we put in front of him.
i suppose it depends on what you feed it i feed mine on florette crispy salad mix which contains Endive(frisee),lambs lettuce,Radicchio.and romaine lettuce, spring greens, rye and timothy grass, meadow hay, courgette a little carrot and the odd bit of strawberry(1 per 2 week)dandilion leaves.i also grow trays containing mixed grazing weeds i get the seeds from a site called nickys seeds so i would feed yours no more than about half to a full cup of a good mix per day in 2 sittings so its fresh
any hay i use is blended up to a powder and dusted over the food this is just to boost the fibre in its food and also add calcium powder 5 days a week and nutrabol 2 times a week and my uvb is on at least 12 hrs a day to create the vital D3 they need but natural sunlight is better if its warm enough
anyone wanting a tort should get loads of info before selecting what type suits you liking and meet its requirements ie housing and a proper diet. any quetions i will do my best do answer im no expert bud i have a pretty good idea
