I'm going on the t.i.g.e.r.s. VIP tour in a couple of weeks, looks like it will be awesome because you actually get to play with the tiger cubs and handle them.

Had my pictures taken with on of those tigers in there, paid $59.00 bucks for it, stood in line in the rain. the money went for a good cause and they showed me proof that it went for a good cause, I was really happy that I got to do this with my family, its the one time i will not forget. those tigers are not treated in humain, theres 100s of people who have tigers 4 pets and in captivity, ask people in SC&NC.

TIGERS places little regard for their animals. They inbreed to create white and golden tabby tigers- both of which often have genetic defects, and die young. They hybridize as well. Any biologist will tell you this is highly unethical and results in many cats that suffer from depression, arthritis, and they are highly prone to cancer.

I thought you'd like to know. While they may say they're a "Preservation", all they are doing is exploiting animals

Well, that's no excuse for exploiting the gene via inbreeding. Which is what T.I.G.E.R.S. has been doing for years. This process, which is necessary to make the rare double recessive gene show results in countless throwaway tigers, that are killed, sold to roadside zoos, or worse- sold as pets.

It's an awful, inhumane practice that has left countless animals without home or dead... :(

I never said they specifically sold them, though I have found considerable proof that they have. They also sell their animals out to be used in productions such as movies and the owner has over 100 violations of the Animal Welfare Act (Doc Antle). And no, thank you, I am not a supporter of PeTA.

For your information GOLDEN TABBY TIGERS are NOT an inbreed, you moron. Do your research BEFORE you write. Golden Tabby Tigers are ANOTHER COLOR VARIATION in the Bengal tigers. Like the white and snow white it's a RECESSIVE COLOR GENE. But you wouldn't know anything about recessive color genes..probably flunked biology! I've seen the TIGERS cats and they are VERY healthy and they take GREAT care of their animals.
