  • The tri power was pain to keep in tune and I changed mine out to dual carter afb's which proved too big. I changed them for two carter cfb's and it was magic, the best setup for that engine I ever found and the carters were much more precise and eaiser to tune than the Holley's. If you wanted to dump in a lot of gas in a hurry the Holley was the way to go but for a great running engine with tons of power also I loved the CFB's.

  • Oh man does that bring back memories! I had a 67 in 68 and we would lock the linkage so that you ran on one two barrel and the other two came in all at once when the need arose(which it often did) Set of Jons pistons, 3/4 race Isky cam, Hooker headers and solid lifters. (That is old fart talk for performance parts LOL) I really want one but they are far out of my price range now. Best car I ever owned ever!

  • So your saying that a tri power system will work on a 400? interesting... I have a 66 with a ram air 1 from a 67 GTO. I would love to mix the two together.

  • waving to my then 3 year old son.

  • @pmm01532 no posi?

  • @frenclassproductions should be, a non posi would just be passenger tire smoking

  • @baldwinvette77 I thought a non posi was just one tire spinning, regardless of the side...nice username btw, my dad had a '77 Vette and grew up near Baldwin

  • Nice burnout but what's with the limp wristed waiving???
