Hey, StarSlay, i actually did something pretty ingenious to get this achievement, i got this before i started FCing songs with the advice you get me, if you don't miss a note in the DLC song "Avenged Sevenfold: Afterlife" With the Johnny Napalm and Casey Lynch powers and only miss notes in the solo, like i did, you should get it ^^
Hey to everyone out there, I'm new to the console guitar hero on Xbox 360, and I'm finding it difficult to hit the star power button and avoid missing a note (this is on easy difficulty :L ) I know -noob- and also the whammy bar is a pain in the ass. I use it then it decides to completely move the opposite way to which I need. Is there a specific way to hold the guitar to use the whammy bar and use the star power button efficiently?
@123Midget321 Most of the competitive gamers that play for score use the select button to activate star power and de-activate the tilt sensor. That's the technique I use as well. It's easy to hit the select button with the side of your hand using the GH3, GHWT, GH5 and GHWOR guitars. As for the whammy bar do you mean that it's loose and falls down once you use it? If so look up "rubber band trick whammy" online and you'll see how people use a simple rubber band to stop that. :)
@FireFox2000000 No worries, if you read through some of the comments that people are leaving on here you'll find plenty of other ways to get the achievement with songs on the disc. People have been very helpful in that aspect. ^_^

I got two stuffs to say, one: this is not the most easy way to get this a... you can also do fury of the storm on medium with sp amplifter and sp nova or I´m not okay with sp nova and sp amplifter on expert and more. two: i´m pretty sure you will get over 2 millions if you had sp nova and sp amplifter. But good played and you very cool.
@ingemarahlgren 1- Again, this is me showing how I got the achievement and there are PLENTY of people here giving alternate methods of how to get it so there's no 1 way to do it. 2- Getting 2 million points doesn't really matter, anything over 1,000,000 will score the achievement and there's no achievement for getting 2 million so for everyone saying "Well I got 1.5mill" or "I got 2 mill" again, all you need is 1 million to get the achievement, anything more isn't going to get you anything extra
heyy :) erm, i found the easiest way to get it is to finish the quest, unlock fury of the storm and use the star power nova and the star power generator and you can get it really easy :)
i always play with star power generator plus and star power nova plus, i think it gives you more points since you get almost infinite star power on your note streaks :)

Why not use Star Power Nova instead of Multiplier Extender? Nova will allow you to get a 24x multiplier under star power, AND if you miss it takes less notes to regain the maximum.

I downloaded 2 Songs from GH store (they were free) but i didn't like it much because i downloaded insane songs so i want another ones, but i dont know how to delete the downloaded songs to put new ones because in my wii because it doesn't have space available, i hope you can help me =)
@Joshuasticky2 Hmmm I don't own a wii so I'm not 100% sure about that. I know on Xbox you have to go to your system settings then memory then games then you should be able to see all the songs you downloaded and you then have the option to delete them. I'm guessing Wii should have some similar options because you have to be able to delete stuff off the system to make room for other data. Look through your settings menu for something similar to what I described. Sorry I couldn't help more. :(
I suggest going to the shops and getting a 1GB SD card. Put the SD card into the slot into the Wii and you should have something like 6000 free blocks of memory. You can them download the songs onto the SD card and download as many as the card has memory for.

@IIIZIIIZIIIZ As stated in the video, you need to have Guitar Hero 6 in and download the neversoft track pack. If you tried that and didn't see it the song might no longer be available. It was a free track pack long ago, so it's possible it might not be there anymore if they didn't feel the need to keep it up or if it was a promotional free pack only.

Very nice. i can barely do those orange and blue alternate hammer-ons. Itd be nice to play GH with u sometime. i dont get to play with someone as good as me very often so i enjoy the chances i get. of my friends, im the 2nd one who was able to play Thru Fire and Flames on expert. Very nice though. I gotta try to find this in the store.
Dear God... O_O LoL. A while back I downloaded that pack for GH5 and when I saw it was 10 minutes or so I was like Challenge Accepted... First time I failed big time. But after a few times I eventually finished it... I've been playing on expert for about a year and a half and I have to say it felt like my hand was gonna fall off. LoL. Only cuz of the intro and after that I was in pain and had to pause constantly because my hand would cramp. So painful. I feel like an expert newbie. For the LoLz

@xXGH6FanXx Lots and lots of practice. I've been playing guitar rhythm games since 1999 (Guitar Freaks) and at one point was playing guitar hero for 40 hours a week for a couple years. It just takes lots of practice and learning techniques that make playing the tricky parts easier. I read up on the forums on scorehero for tips usually.

@blackpaladin225 Because when I play for long periods of time this is the most comfortable position for me. Also, the guitar doesn't shift around so I don't have to worry about losing my finger placement, accidentally over strumming, etc all because of something dumb like the guitar shifting or the strap falling off etc. It's just my personal preference.
@shoezomaku I'm pretty sure I played this on hyperspeed 4 as I rarely use 5, but I honestly can't remember as I filmed this so long ago so I guess it's possible it could be 5. :p Sorry! I just can't remember!

@shoezomaku MK is DEFINITELY worth the money in my opinion, but I've always been a fan of the series. ^_^ As for the Metallica songs, if you bought the Death Magnetic DLC pack you can play it in this version.
oh yh aswell i decided to use star power x6 with star power generator and got alot more points as u use star power alot, so any1 who just can't reach a million try this.
One thing I like, is that I watched this, and was able to NOT think about you being a female, or cute, I respect you as a gamer, and I think MORE people should think like this. :)

A good strategy is to Play Psychosocial and use SP Amp and SP Nova and easily got almost 1.4 Million points Not really hard just know your chords :) and takes half the time

It just takes lots of practice and learning techniques that make playing the tricky parts easier. I read up on the forums on scorehero for tips usually.

there is an easier way without dlc. get all powers and use sp generator and sp nova. any song (almost) can get you a million points easy

@blackpaladin225 Because when I play for long periods of time this is the most comfortable position for me. Also, the guitar doesn't shift around so I don't have to worry about losing my finger placement, accidentally over strumming, etc all because of something dumb like the guitar shifting or the strap falling off etc. It's just my personal preference.

@shoezomaku I'm pretty sure I played this on hyperspeed 4 as I rarely use 5, but I honestly can't remember as I filmed this so long ago so I guess it's possible it could be 5. :p Sorry! I just can't remember!

@shoezomaku MK is DEFINITELY worth the money in my opinion, but I've always been a fan of the series. ^_^ As for the Metallica songs, if you bought the Death Magnetic DLC pack you can play it in this version.

Easiest way by far is this.
Play Self esteem, using Star power multiplier and star nova.
I got it first try, 97 percent 1.3 million. Very, very easy.

Do "How You Remind Me" by Nickelback. Play expert. Choose 4x normal Star power and 6x multiplyer. And you should be good lol. Lots of chords .

A good strategy is to Play Psychosocial and use SP Amp and SP Nova and easily got almost 1.4 Million points Not really hard just know your chords :) and takes half the time
