  • How many 1907 silver ghosts are left in existence? Does anybody know thanks alot.

  • To drive a modern is just that, a drive! To drive one of these, is an experience to be had! I'd take the Silver Ghost over the new crap anyday!

  • the dealer better suck me and fuck me for 35 million

  • Much better than modern cars.

  • Worlds sexiest cars

  • That old man at 1:40 talking about how this car is better than todays is a lunatic. I understand he enjoys this vehicle but to claim its better than any other built even today.. Christ. People who sit there and claim older vehicles are built better and ARE better "mechanically" than todays really needs to get a grip of reality. You're border lining stupidity here. Todays cars are a lot better in every way and form, and 20 years from now they will be better than todays cars.

  • @sacr3 New cars may be better.....but old cars, they were BUILT!!

  • the most expensive car in the world 35.000.000 $ !

  • Lol it's funny that the old guy is like "Oh yeah it's so beefed up and you could put it nose to nose with a cadillac.' Lol like did you forget to take your medication or something because you seem to be slipping in and out of reality there old timer.

  • @dgk990 Believe it, it's true! It's like an old steam traction engine can easily over power modern diesels in a tractor pull!

  • No knock against the Ghost, but I'd rather have a Duesy or a Bugatti Atlantic (In your dreams, you are free indeed)

  • The Silver Ghost ( the one that made the trip ) is the most valuable car in the world.

  • I paid cash for my Rolls-Royce back in the 20th Century, and it was a raggy piece of junk....as bad as my 1957 Chevrolet. The two worst cars I ever had. Third worst, 1971 Corvette Stingray. Forth worst, 1983 Jaguar....Best car...1969 Pontiac Grand Prix SJ. Next, Mercedes-Benz S class and suprisingly, a Lincoln Town Car.

  • Did he say the best ever "made in America"? Oops.... I guess learned something new today.

  • A classic British engineering miracle.

  • its worth over 30 million, not just 200 grand

  • @cbaums this actual historic "silver ghost " may be worth 35 million, who knows, it hasnt been on the market for about 90 years. but ghosts were made from about 1906 to about 1927 so they arent really impossibly rare or expensive

  • 1:52 "You can put it nose to nose with a Cadillac.... or one of those big strong things..... and it will push it all around the block!" ROFL!!!!!!!! XDDDDD

  • I love the silver ghost. You cant beat old workmanship. nothing's designed to last nowadays .

  • you guys wont believe me but one time my dad and i went to a gas station in my town spokane washington and it was awesome. first we saw a towncar limo, then we saw a beatiful 1920 silver ghost. OMFG it was so pretty. wood paneling, brass gaskets, V12 engine. oh and it was the limousine version. that thing has to be worth over 200 Grand.

  • @syren345

    thats crazy!

    its worth over 30 million

  • @syren345 its worth over 30 million.

  • @cbaums im not surprised that thing was amazing. it was in pristine condition.

  • @syren345 a ghost is actually a big six cylinder. the V12s apart from the modern ones were late 30s models

  • I had to show this video to everyone of a newly restored silver ghost in Ireland

  • Thank you.

  • It spends most of its time at the HQ of the Sir Henry Royce Memorial Foundation nr Northampton

  • Really???? Is it still at the factory in Crewe or did VW loan it to BMW?

  • as far as I know when its not traveling its kept at Hunt House the headquarters for the RREC and RRSA

  • fuckin a right on!!!!!!!

  • The Silver Ghost is one of my favourite cars! I love classic cars! Cool video too!

  • The beauties reigned from 1906 - 1925when the legendary Phantom range was launched.

The modern Phanton is the Phantom VIII.

  • legendary vehicle

  • LMFAOOOOOO

  • fuck u spammer

  • hola visita mis videos y dejame tu comentario vale gracias

  • Well,

it's not like car companies couldn't build an an basicly indistructeble car today.

It's just not what they're going for.

  • my closet has no place for the dead bloody body as it is full

  • sweet, i'm a necrophiliac, here i come!

  • did the silver ghost die?

  • It's sad that Rolls Royce is now a subsidiary of BMW.

  • The Rolls Royce Silver Ghost is insured for $50,000,000 US dollars.

  • Great video but totally ruined by load and inappropriate music (sounds like it cam out of an elevator circa 1973).

  • a different world view from Henry Ford. Ford wanted to make as many cars as possible but both wanted to make durable cars that lasted.

  • Good video, great work! And the classy jazz goes hand in hand with the magnificent cars.. Myself I used to work for Rolls Royce Marine, in the propellerdivision :)

  • @mrpitv

It's too bad presend day Ford is pretty far from "durable". It seems more like they use the cheapest possible materials, and assemble it using ex-convicts or something else.

  • I wouldnt ever own a car like this. I'd be two afraid that some jackass would steal it, hit it, scratch it etc.

  • definitely not a daily driver, although it could be if anyone was crazy enough to tool around in a car worht $35 million.

  • I would definately love to have one as a Daily Driver. Cars like this are the ones that I like and includes Packards, Cadillacs, Lincolns and the like. Im not like others in my age group which normally likes Toyotas, Nissans, Mitsubishis, Mazdas and other Japanese wannabes.

  • if i had the money to afford it i would love to drive one of them as my daily driver

  • amazing car, most valuable car in the world. last i read the insurance value was roughly 35 million.

  • It's the car that proved Charles Rolls was right when he insisted that the key to the future was concentrating on doing a few things well. Based on the success of the Silver Ghost they were selling as many cars as they could make and the Cooke Street plant was running out of room. After negotiating for a reduced rate for electricity, a twelve-acre sight in Derby was settled on and a new factory was built. Our car companies could learn from them.

  • Definately a very contrary vision to Ford and his Model T

  • 15000 miles?I read somewhere that AX 201,the original Silver Ghost per today has run in excess of 500 000 miles, still without an overhaul!
