of course pressing u is a cheat only because they put it in there doesn't make it less of a cheat since almost all cheats are put in the games.

even the konami code is a part of their games and that most definitely is a cheat

@grandbaham the official bethesta website has TES 2 Daggerfall free for download but you may need DOSbox to run the game on newer computers. It doesnt even work on xp without dosbox so vista and 7 wont work without dosbox as well.

Daggerfall uses MSDOS scripts, which are no longer compatible with modern windows xp, windows 7 and vista.

I got it back in 1995 as a present from my uncle and kept it til today. Dont know how much it was at that time. In 2009, it was released for free on the official theelederscrolls website together with TES1, where I downloaded it in hope it got some face lifting. But its still the original without any changes. Go to the site and DL it there, if you want.

I got my copy it was released in the US for about $45. If you are looking for one and want to play it rather than keep it as a collectible; I suggest getting the version without the foil holographs box (the original release) unless you can find the bug fixing patches. The non holo version doesn't have some of the game breaking bugs that the first version did.

I respect old games cause I grew up playing them, I remember playing daggerfall when i was like 8-9 years old? They were scarrier and more fun those days (Now the modern gamer expects too much from a game) cause the gameplay was the core essence. Today gamers just look at the graphics...

I keep having difficulty getting this to run. Last time, I didn't know how to move the view with my mouse and if I attempted to load ANY save, it would be corrupted. Maybe I'll try it again using all the tips I can find on UESP-- the ultimate site for Elder Scrolls.

You speak pretty good English. The [wind] in "Morrowind" is pronounced like wind[WHEND] "the stuff that blows", instead of wind[WHINED] "what you did to your watch earlier". Hope that clears that up for you a bit. GREAT LP, btw.

Thanks, I worked hard to speak better english. You need to accept that in my native language, which is german, I pronounce words differently than you do in your language. It just happens that I pronounce them like I know it from my language.

Finally! After months of hope for a good Let's Play for Daggerfall, and getting nothing but ones with either really bad sound quality, and ones that skipped around, or just had a fucking annoying voice with an idiotic personality to boot, we finally get a Let's Play from someone who seems pretty intelligent, and has a pretty sweet voice(with a really awesome accent to boot.), and the audio or video quality seem pretty spot on

I cant promise you not to skip some things later on. I just started and maybe I will not record how I reach a requiert level for the next main-quests. (they are level locked). But I can tell you for sure to show you every quest that you can get from the people of Daggerfall and the other kingdoms of the Bay. All my LPs are based on knowledge of the game I play.

Take it easy. He's not a native speaker of the language; and, in fact, it's people who are that in some way made sure he had the habit to say "to boot". But what the hell does it matter if he spells something wrong? It's a Let's Play, not a Let's Spell or Let's Talk Perfect English.

The only somewhat constructive criticism here is the gameplay comment, but even that was quite meaningless. It could help boost the enjoyment of an otherwise boring Let's Play.
