There is a documentary, Wrath of Gods, that tells the behind the scenes story of the filmming of this movie. It is excellent and well worth checking out/purchasing and gives whole new insite into everything about this movie. The scenery, story line, interviews .. all very informative and entertaining.

The Wrath DVD is excellent.. great extras and bonus material.. I think seeing Wrath of Gods first gives a lot of insite into Beowulf and Grendel and what went on on that movie set....

first of all the producer who is Icelandic, filmed this in November, in Iceland that is a bad month to be filming and that in the mountains, he is lucky none got injured. The storms are really bad that time of year.

Go to Isohunt, Bit Torrent or Mininova. I downloaded this version, its worthwhile as I suggested to someone else. THis movie is beautiful, better than the one with Angelina Joli, in my opinion

Iceland is the most beautiful country I have ever visited. And I travelled a lot. Icelands nature is great and pure and the people are so friendly. I'm going to visit Iceland again.

Thanks for sharing this treasure Interview with some of the Cast stars/Sarah Polley & Skarsgard of "Beowulf & Grendel" their acting imput was of the highest caliber as was the whole Cast. I wish it had of been on the big major screen here in the USA when released in 2005. I'm pleased that it done quite well & was successful. Iceland is quite beautiful but has very rough weather. You have to be strong to live there.
