@amtriplekkk There aren't anymore people fitting into that location :-) It's a tiny square between the hugh cathedral and the surrounding buildings. So only 9.000 people where allowed to be infront of the stage.

What a wonderful concert to behold in Köln (Cologne) in 2000 with REM! During my wayward & reckless youth, I spent 3 years in Germany, in the early 1980s. It has been my experience that German People really relish great concerts & give their energetic all. Rolling Stones, Simon & Garfunkel, Frank Zappa, J Geils Band, Loverboy, Chris DeBurgh, Nena, Jethro Tull,many more. German folks, please keep your exuberance for great rock. We, your brothers across the sea understand you! Peace/Friede.Chus!

Tell your daughter to be easy on the jagerschnitzel platters mit pomme frittes (french fries fried in butter fat) most deliciously decadent. My midriff was getting bigger than Midway until I heartily hit the gym. Germany is awesome, learn the Bahnhoff schedules & you are set. Explore where ever you want to go.
