I signed the petition. As a record store owner for the last 10 years, I know that Alex has a great voice and great promise, and our best hope is that his recording career will far eclipse this moment, and we will have the opportunity to cherish this young man's music for years to come.

they made it a top 13 last year, and the guy they put thru wasnt even that great in my opinion. I think 2 make it fair they should open phone lines 4 the last 4 voted off and the most popular go thru as the 13th contestant - that would of course have to be the gorgeous and gifted Alex. I was so looking 4ward 2 idol over the next couple of weeks but now Alex has gone its not the same.
