I think the best singer he's work with so far is Myles Kennedy. Myles is almost the same age as Axl and still has a better voice. Sure he has some off gigs but Axl voice in far worse shape. In the songwriting deparment I like how Myles writes about different subjects.

Yes I have heard it, in fact I am a big fan of Slash, but the truth is none of his post Guns material has been good, maybe with the exception of Fall to Pieces. Lets see how memorable his "latest album" is in a year shall we.

@twalker76jspk His guitar work is his songwriting he leaves the lyrics to the singers. Axl didn't write Guns N Roses classic songs all on his lonesome. I mean when Axl spent over 10 years Pro-Tooling Chinese Democracy by himself that album was a piece of shit. Slash's solo album for me was one of the best proper rock albums in the last few years

@MrSQUABify He helped write some of the lyrics for some of those songs on his solo album, and for Velvet revolver and Slash's Sanakepit. Its in the credits oft he albums, and not to mention the interviews where he states he wrote certain songs and then called people to ask them if they would sing them for him as he thought their voice would suit. So yes he did actually write some of the lyrics for his albums.

@twalker76jspk - I would disagree with the idea that Rose is the best Singer he's ever performed with, certainly in terms of singing-talent, but I see your point. It is a fact that together in Gn'R they made Musical History and nothing from either Side since has been that memorable. I'd say its highly doubtful they would ever get the real Gn'R back together. Rose would have some growing up to do before then. That said, if they did and it worked out fine then they would clean up. True Fact.
