@BlakeBeilby Uhmmm.... so what is it exactly that you want to know? Whether there is any point of fitting a boost gauge to a car without a turbo? No, there isn't. Even if you are, as you said, dgaf about looks.
@BlakeBeilby LMFAO this is funny man. Why would you put a boost gauge on a car that is all motor XD You sir are a funny man. Humorous humorous indeed.
a suitable vacuum source, a lot of people use the fuel pressure regulator but many says its bad why? does boost built up close the regulator not allowing fuel into the engine?
The pressure signal from the fuel pressure reg would be the most accurate signal as the FPR relies on this pressure signal to keep fuel pressure constant. If the signal was bad, then fuel pressure would not rise or fall as quickly as boost pressure which could result in lean/rich combustion conditions.
Adding something else in the line would mean more volume to fill before the chamber in the FPR would begin to pressurize, causing reduced response from the FPR. So there are good and bad points on taking the signal from the FPR.
Did you have to drill a hole in the firewall to get through?
