when i first found out about Nagato i couldnt forgive him and i was all like "So this is how the student of Jariaya Turned out?" But i watched the episode of his story and i understood his Pain, and he was aiming for something good, but in the wrong way. Then i ended up feeling bad for Nagato.

@gozen233. Well. it was not just his parents. I think he saw everyone die in the village before his parents got killed and he was just a small kid. After that he travelled and saw more suffer and pain because of the grate nations. When they founded Akatsuki all of the members were good friends and Nagato saw all of them dying in front of him and the last draw was Yahiko dying.

The hidden leaf didn't kill his parents, but ninjas of the villiage did, and Nagato though it was a whole representation of the Leaf. But the leaf had just mistakened Nagato's family for some dangerous ninja, they attacked first not Nagato's parents so your logic is in fact flawed.

@moewkittymew I don't understand his logic. Saying the hidden leaf killed Nagato's parents is like saying that GM killed someone when someone wrecked a Chevy while drunk driving. It was due to carelessness and poor judgement. The Ninja's bust into someone's house and then they get attacked, so they respond with aggression. Ninja's should be more careful, they are trained to scout places and assume nothing. They where not ordered to kill those people by the Leaf, they acted on their own.

Pain really is a terrible thing, isn't it? Poor Nagato...his heart was filled with so much pain that it was unbearable for him. At least he can rest in peace now that his and Jiraya's quest has been passed on to Naruto.
