Something about this doesnt kick in as a "Happy" sort of ending.

If you remember LOTR3, it returned to the peaceful atmosphere of the Shire & that "THE END" was icing on the cake.

The color scheme is dreary, still depressing greys. They added in the Leaving Hogwarts for a warm feeling, why didnt they return to the bright happy color scheme of the 1st film? And no "All is Well" just cut to black?

Despite the jubilee music everything else didnt add up. Making it feel like a limp whimper ending.

Liked how it was handled in the book. The movie has time constraints and all, but I would have liked the bit where poor Percy was living his final humiliation.

They were also too kind to Tom Felton. In the book Draco was bald already, and his wife was being shrewish.

A very good job of ending it. But I could have done with 10 more minutes of it.

My nephew did not understand why I cried but maybe he will if the next 'harry potter' series affects him and many years later when he's my age, he'll cry clapping along everyone in the theater for years of magic.

Everytime I watch this scene I cry. Not because of the fact that it's over, but because of the innocence of the characters. I love how the children resemble them so much. Lily wants to go to hogwarts badly, and knows everything about it, like ginny did. and albus is scared, and unsure, like his father. Rose is just as ready as can be and wanting to get on with it. I love how they did this scene, sure it's cheesy, but it makes you smile, knowing it'll never really be over. (L)
