Best C is without doubt Shaq. In his prime he was like a monster.

You're kidding right? After 12 years in the league Magic had 9855 assists from 1979-1991. Ending his career with with 10141 assists with n average of about 900 assists per year. Magic retired for 4 years! Which wouldve put Magic at at least 3600 more assists ending with close to 14,000 in only 16 years in the league! Stockton had 19 years in the league with 15806 assists. You wanna do the rest of the math here? Lakers baby!

It is easy to assume that Magic would've just kept on putting up those numbers all those years. But I don't think that is realistic. Besides John Stockton had a career turnover to assist ratio of 3.83, and Magic only had one of 2.89. John Stockton is the best disher ever, and my man does not have the 6'8" height advantage. Kudos to magic as one of the best all time, but John Stockton is the purest PG the game will see for a long time.

Your man doesn't have a 6'8 height advantage? Lets talk about everything else he doesn't have. He doesn't have a Championship ring. Not one!! My man has 5 Rings!! One from his ROOKIE year!! And you can't use physical stature as an advantage. K, Magic wasn't 5 foot something and he could run in between players legs and he was too tall to cut in and out of the lane and get to the hoop.

You're saying Magic would've put up the same numbers at the end of his career as he did in his prime? Wishful thinking there. Stockton had 11,310 assists in his first 12 seasons and his first 3 years he came off the bench.

sad that the only thing you can bring up is the fact john doesnt have a ring. no matter your logic magic never would have surpassed johns assist record ever he just wouldnt have been able to keep his assist total that high for his remaining years. and seriously look at who surrounded magic johnson during his rookie year your ridiculous utah had only a couple really great players there supporting cast was a bit low and they still got to the championship with michael jordan one of the best ever .

The sad thing is we'll never know what would've happened if Magic never retired. I never understood how anyone can lose every year and go to the hall of fame. Thats just me. But congrats to your team who lost to the Bulls in the Finals. I'm sure you brag all the time to people how you lost!  2nd place is the first loser in my book. And forgive me, and i've said this before, Stockton did get some gold!! On the Dream Team in 1992 when he was on the bench again substituting for Magic Johnson =D

no matter what you say magic is not the assist leader and steals leader combined he earned those championship rings i agree at least i have the decency to speak positively about magic. im not going to talk about what didnt happen but bottom line john stockton is one of the best point guards of the game magic johnson was also nothing you say can take away from his career .

i said that Stockton was good. i'm not trying to take anything away. History was set. He is the assist leader. But you can't combine stats and say that he earned a ring. He doesn't have one. Its sad, but true. Nothing you can say can change that. Neither does your coach! And he's in the hall of fame? Explain that to me.

your one of those people who think that if someone doesnt have a ring there career isnt worth mentioning right? Jerry sloan has set records and led his team to some of the most playoff appearances ever as well as having one of the highest win to loss ratios and being the longest tenured coach in the NBA with one team no ring aside the guy is one of the best coaches he does an amazing job with one of the lowest salary caps in the league with players choosing to go to more high profile teams.

You think Sloan cares about how many wins he has over losses? He keeps coming back to try to win a ring. He doesn't keep coming back to make his win to loss ratio better. Its not anything until he gets those 16 wins at the end of June. The most playoff appearances? That means you lost the most as well!!

It was just a little guy named Michael Jordan, the best player to ever play the game, that got in their way. I'm not taking anything away from magic, but if you come in this video attacking Stockton you're gonna hear it. The Lakers were stacked--Kareem, Worthy, Scott, etc. You give Stockton those players and he would have had at least 1 ring.
