  • Fit win!!!

  • My Yaris was under $14k and gets >40 mpg. One tank I went 503 miles on 10.1 gallons of gas! 50k miles and never been to the dealer for anything. Just oil, gas, and front tires so far. The fit has a tiny fuel tank, costs a lot, and harsh ride. I wasn't biased, I did research and bought the best car for the $.

  • @alexkram Pity the Yaris has a horrid interior and ghastly exterior design

  • wait wait wait! THese tiny cars are 20k in base trim!!!??? WTF!!!

  • @302Travis no they're not, the fit is $14,480 and the yaris hatch is 13,620 where u getting ur info from

  • @302Travis oh that's after taxes and with ac

  • @alexkvaskov not at all its 17,653 after taxes and thats fully loaded Sport Edition these numbers are wrong

  • @sohcfit Just so you know, I got these numbers and specs from Honda and Toyota's Canadian websites 2.5 years ago so I'm not taking any responsibility for these numbers and specs being accurate today.

  • @sohcfit Here is your fully loaded Yaris RS with automatic transmission in Canada.

tinyurl dot com/4unv3u7 Over 32K with HST

  • @alexkvaskov lol thats a f*cking rip off ill never pay that much for this fit lol id rather buy a used DC2 ITR

  • The pick of the bunch is a 1.5 manual Yaris in my opinion. A YRS. It has the electric windows, audio on the steering wheel, leather steering wheel, leather gear knob, and doesnt have the body kit, so its a lighter yaris, with all the options you want. And the 1.5 manual, when its producing max power, (about 40,000Kms on the clock) goes really well. As for reliability, they have a clean record. I have owned one from new, not one problem with it, not a single thing.

  • The Yaris is better in reliability. Consumer report's most reliable vehicle- only 2 in 100 have problems.

  • honda fit is much nicer, toyota is crap.

  • @jaffacake1578 not all of toyota's models suck, but they have gotten boring in the past 10 years - no more celica, no more supra..

  • @alexkvaskov But aren't they making an FT-86 or something? supposed to be like a sports car. It's a concept at the moment but it looks headed for production.

  • @doomsk8er yeah they are, which isn't bad, but it's not the same as the old models

  • So, basically they are the same car :-P

  • wtf i thought they were gonna race

  • lol

  • the 09 yaris has 6 airbags. even in the lowest trim.

  • the 09 yeah, but not the models before that

  • ABS and EBD shouldn't be considered safety features, they are very important to a vehicles track performance.

  • are you fcking kidding me?

  • no im not. they are.

  • omg dude, abs and ebd contribute pretty much nothing to a vehicle's track performance, esc does somewhat

  • First off, toyota has always quoted around 2-3 mpg higher than their cars actually get. We get 38mpg in our fit. and what country were those prices from? we bought our Fit Sport for $16k, and the non sport was cheaper at $15k not $21k.

  • 38 mpg nice

    these prices are from canada

  • Comment removed

  • just wait for the toyota hybrid prius....

  • the 2009 yaris now has standard side curtain airbags even on the base model. and i would say the yaris is reliable, after all, it is a toyota. and its not as angular as the fit.

  • fir rocks more than yaris.

  • sedan and the hatch yaris are completely differrent. no.1 aero dynamics, the sedan is just a bloody box on wheels and has no defined shape whilst the hatchbak is slanted. no.2 the weight, hatch yaris t sport weighs less than the sedan increases accelerelation n handling. no.3 sedan yaris is a peice of shit and hatch is way betta. lol.

  • the yaris has no pickup

but me my mom and my aunt have a toyota all 2005-2008

and they have great pickup but the yaris is the worst toyota ever made in my opinion

  • honda again

  • both r great cars

  • Yaris is unreliable

  • the fit has now got a new design since it came out like what 7 years ago lol

  • Well, those were the Jazz and Logo...

In the US, it was introduced in 2006

  • well it was on sale as the fit 7 years ago by me

  • autos suck anyway...

quite a few yaris owners are knocking down close to 50mpg combined

    yaris is faster

  • Yaris is faster? Actually, they are about the same. 50 mpg in a Yaris? I don't think so

  • yaris is a tad faster, since it's 200lbs lighter

and it doesn't matter what you think about mpg, do some research

  • I have never heard of a Yaris getting 50 mpg

Even driving very conservatively, I don't think that's possible

  • Wow, this seems to be an uneducated comment. Both the Yaris and the Fit can achieve 50 mpg. I've gotten 51 mpg before. I average about 42 mpg.

AFIAK, the NCP91/93 has a quicker 0-60 time than the GD3, according to every car magazine I read.

  • 50mpg? hypermilers can do that, but that's too boring for the average driver

i don't think the 28-29/34-36 mpg yaris and fit can get as much as 14 mpg higher

  • Honda Fit is win!

  • the Fit rules! HONDA KICKS ASS!!!

  • Fuck your self, Chryslerminivans1111

    No one cares about you

  • Amen!
