  • thank you so much for this video. I have a very similar problem because I have plucked for a long time as well. I want to get electrolysis but it is very costly, can you share more ways to cover the hair? thank you very much. God Bless You

  • you are a strong woman. thank you for your courage

  • I totally feel you. Right now I'm doing Laser hair removal...it's going ok. There has been a reduction for sure, but I'm thinking about electrolysis to get the hairs that just won't go away! I been to the doctor to get blood work and all of my hormone levels are normal. My doctor concluded that I have hair follicles that are sensitive to normal male hormones. I guess that explains why I am so hairy...I'm still debating whether or not I believe that. Anyway, thanks for the post, keep us updated!

  • I also have a youtube devoted toward health and well-being. Please feel free to add to the discussions. I just started it and the main video is PCOS and all its issue including unwanted hair in embarrassing places. I wish you the best!

  • OMG, you could totally be my twin from this aspect, although I wouldn't wish it on any. I really thought I was the only woman in the world believe it or not to have a full beard. No one in my family has as much hair. I thought it was PCOS but they tell me no, but because I am black which is a load of crap. I am going to the electrolysis next week. I thought about it before but they lady was pushing me toward laser because I tried plucking a year before. I wish you luck and keep update.

  • @prettykittyga76

Don't leave us hanging here girl! Give us an update!!!!!!!!!!!PLEASE :D

I applaud you for being so brave, and honest about having to deal with facial hair. You are my hero <3

  • i wonder if you could visit two people..like after finishing your 1st appointment.. go for a 2nd at a different place (same day)??

  • Thank you so much for posting this. I myself am looking into electrolysis as well. Would love to hear any updates on how it went/is going for you.

  • Hi im just wanting to know how you have gone with your electrolysis treatments. Have they removed the hair completely with no regrowth? I too have some hairs on my cheeks/ chin that i want to get rid of forever but im worried about electrolysis stimulating further hair growth. Can you please give us an update as to how your experience has gone? Thank you

  • thank you so much for sharing there are alot of women who experience this. Have you seen some results?

  • Hi! Just wondering how your treatments are going now, are you done yet? Is there any scaring? I'll be starting my treatments soon!

  • You are NOT alone... we are too cute to walk around with a full face of hair girl... I just set my appt for next Tuesday and your vid helped alot. I didnt get a chance to ask a lot of questions beforehand, and even though they asked me to do a consultation - I didn't want to drive 45 mins JUST for a 15 minute consultation when I know that I want to go through with the procedure. Thank you Thank you Thank you for the information and I hope it works for you... and me :)

  • Tend Skin will stop the hair bumps. Try it.

  • Hi just came across your video and wondering what was the outcome after a year. Im 24 and has been shaving since 15 (my entire face) did it work in you? Are you completely facial hair free? I really would like to know because I need to try a different method because this problem im having is really causing me to lack confidence

  • Hey Pretty Kitty!

I too have had this problem for about 20 yrs & have tried almost everything. The cream that was recommended (Vanique) works! Once you get the prescription from your Dr. you can find it online via FDA approved Canadian pharmacies for under $70. Please don't fall for electrolosis treatments without hormone therapy or it may take a year but the hair will grow back!

  • Thank you SO MUCH for doing this video babe! I have the same hair growth on my face (a full beard) that has wrecked my confidence over the years. I'm tired of shaving and have decided to do Electrolysis to get rid of the hair once and for all! Thank you for this informative and inspiring video!

  • I have PCOS , and i have the same pattern of hair growth as you and ingrown hairs, Im doing research now, and I will also try electrolysis......i hate my facial hair more than anything. I tried lazor, but its too expensive and i found it ineffective

  • Thanks for your extremely informative video!!! All of us bearded ladies feel ya, I am about to go to the dermatologist for the first time to get a consultation and hopefully begin the process of permanent chin hair removal. Thank you, it is so helpful to know that many of us are in this together!!! We are beautiful and will get through this :).

  • I am an electrologist and I want to THANK YOU so very much for sharing your story with other women. I, too, had a problem with excess hair on my face 25 years ago and got rid of it with electrolysis. It's the best thing I've ever done for my appearance and it will be for you, too. Other women need to know they are not alone with this issue. There are many, many ladies out in the world who have unwanted hair. I salute you for being so brave and putting this video together!! Again, thank you!

  • I give you props for your honesty. I can soooo relate! I have yet to be able to do anything other than what I can do myself due to finances. Good luck to you!

  • You're a beautiful women with a beautiful heart.

    Thanks for sharing :)

  • @conqueringthruchrist thank you so much for viewing and for your kind words. i would encourage you to at least give electrolysis another try. just do some research and find someone who is certified, and preferably someone with a lot of experience. i was very blessed to find someone who not only has years of experience, but who has an understanding of hair growth and removal unlike anyone i have ever seen. good luck and may God bless you as well.

  • & movementsofhumanbody I love your screen name by the way! Anyway, vaniqa is FDA approved and requires a prescription so I would consider it safe. I never experienced any adverse affects from using it, and it actually made a tremendous difference for me. The only problem I had with vaniqa is that it was not a permanent solution. One tube cost about $70 plus the the fee of the doctor's visit and would last about 3 months.

  • WOW, this is wonderful. Thanks so much for sharing your knowledge and experience. I really want to start electrolosis myself. Is Vanica safe?

  • @zjaz10 I"ll look into that. Thanks for the suggestion.

  • Hun you should the Apilus machine (different form of machine for electrolysis) it is FANTASTIC!! You will full in love with it. There is little pain and little swelling.. Look into it, seriously you would be so grateful and i assure you wont regret it specially if you go to someone that knows exactly what they are doing

  • @sepbaby83 thank you and best of luck to you!

  • @Diandra525 thank you so much!

  • Finer and eventually will not grow at all. The density if the hair, how deeply rooted it is, and the type of electrolysis used all impact how long treatment will take.

  • @thaindependent1. Electrolysis is pretty expensive where I live. It's $50 an hour or $1 per minute with a 20 minute minimum and It can take anywhere from several months to a couple of years to permanently remove the hair from a given area. The thing is, hair grows in cycles, so just because you get a hair zapped doesn't necessarily mean it's gone for good. I think a hair can have up to 13 cycles, so you may have to keep getting the same areas done again and again. The hair will grow in finer an

  • I was trying to say electrolysis is permanent. Sorry. Lol!

  • @Kelliegurl2007. Sorry that I'm just now getting back with a response. I had to stop my electrolysis because of my financial situation, but will be resuming my treatment early next year. As far as which would be better in your case, you would want to weigh the pros and cons of each procedure. Laser will give you more immediate results and it allows you to cover a larger area much quicker, but eventually the hair will come back. Electrolysis is slow, time consuming and somewhat painful, but the

  • @simplyentycing

I definitely feel your pain. Good luck with your hair removal journey and with dealing with the PCOS, as it is a struggle as well. My prayers are with you.

  • hello sister.my name is laqueen&i too have unwanted facial hair that ive been dealing with since my late teens.i started electrolysis a couple of days ago&i am so excited about this journey. for me my mustache is my focal point of elimination. im pleasantly surprised at how painless it really is for the most part&my technician works fast.congratulations on your journey.i wish you well.

  • Question? How much does electrolysis run you? I am considering electrolysis..I have unwanted facial hair..it is very embarrassing!

  • Thank you for being honest...I had my first session today and it was really time consuming but I hope I get the results I want...best of luck to you!

  • I think your very attractive, thank you for posting this it really helped =)

  • is there a reason that you chose electrolysis over laser? I'm currently debating between the two for my facial hair which is thick and dark.

  • Thanks for sharing what is normally a very personal experience. I, too, have been plucking for years, have a full beard with sideburns, and get the bumps and ingrown hairs under the chin. I've had PCOS for over half of my life (I'm 32) and is the cause of the hair growth. I hope that I'll be able to start treatment soon. It's funny how plucking beard hair makes it grow but plucking eyebrows will stop hair the hair.

Lasers may be faster but electrolysis is still the best for permanent removal.

  • my friend started doing electrolysis and she liked it, but she started laser (the YAG one) and she thinks it is much better. She says its ultimately cheaper and works faster.

I appreciate your honesty and Im thinking about doing it too.

  • Do you think that because you have been plucking for so long you have developed good pain tolerance in that area? Great info hope you keep us all updated with the progress :)

  • @murdermebeautiful i'm positve that plucking for so long increased my tolerance for pain in those areas. It was to the point where there was no pain at all when i would pluck.

  • Good luck! I hope you get fantastic results! Also, thanks for the information.

  • @dadystootoo Thank you so much!
