Great entry. I'm working on a motion picture about a Battle of Britain pilot, and we're considering adding a pretty epic scene of London getting whacked during the Blitz.
Hitlers JETS? Rockefeller had The ONLY Jet Fuel on EARTH. Rockefeller GAVE Hitler all the OIL for WW2. Churchill is a Rothschild he conveniently observed the BLITZ from afar. Prescott Bush owned Silecian Steel in Auschwitz death camps of ig Farben producing STEEL for HITLER. Rockefeller cartelled with Farben producing ZyclonB Death Gas
Britain wasn't actually on the 'verge' of defeat. The Kriegsmarine still would have had to get past the Royal Navy which was more powerful. But it was a VERY serious situation.
These are typical British-American lies. German never started war on Britain - it was both the USA and Britain who started world wars two times on Germany, claiming to "help" Poland or Belgium. Even Hitler did not start war with the English - England was one of the first countries to start bombing during the war. They bombed Germany first - Germany bombed one month later.
@Elberiver11 Get your facts straight you moron. Firstly America never entered the war until 1941so how can it be Britain and America starting the war on Germany in 1939. And yes Germany did invade Poland, Germany and the soviets divided Poland up between them. Then Germany invades Holland and Belgium to get to France. Then their's the battle of Britain that happens over BRITAIN WERE THE GERMAN BOMBERS ARE BOMBING BRITAIN and that's the facts no matter how much morons like you try to change them.
This American "reporter" got his dates wrong -no bombs fell in London in June 1940. The evacutation of Dunkirk had just taken place, but it was not until mid August 1940 that the first German bombs fell on London, and it was not until the late afternoon of Saturday, 7 September that the first real mass aerial bombardement by the German Luftwaffe took place...the true start of the London Blitz. For 57 consecutive nights German bombs rained down on London and elsewhere on Britain in the Blitz.
Churchill by then had informed American leaders that it might be necessary to move the Royalty and British fleet to Canada, to continue fighting from there.
40 000 killed in all of England during the whole war.
200 000 killed in Dresden in only one night (not including those who were burnt to ashes), mainly women and children. NOTE - London was fully defended and the Goevrnment in London had started war on Germany. The city of Dresden defenseless and overcrowded with 500 000 refugees, seeking shelter from the murderous rapist Allied soldiers.
Also watch the images of London after the Blitz: Downtown London e.g. Picadilly Circus nearly undestroyed. Trains, buses running as usual, lots of smiling people in the streets.
Compare to Dresden images after the RAF's Firestorm-Holocaust: No buildings left, not a single person in sight over miles. A moonscape & devastation of over 12 Square miles - a huge cemetery. No streetcars, no cars, no buses. Only rubble and death. No people, nothing. The RAF killed 200 000 innocents in one night.
@Elberiver11'm sure the nazis bombed london civilians by accident so we bombed them, then hitler got angry and started the blitz, which some say is the reason he didn't beat britain, the blitz gained little if anything, they were tearing down the city and leaving military targets. i'm sure we fed bad intelligence back to them and they started missing a lot of their targets and hitting suburbs at one point. we killed more by doing a better job of things. theres no doubt they started the war!
@Verderer watch the video again, its referring to the attack on raf bases and airfields, i do think the date is wrong, i thought it was july 1940, but thats the same basic ball-park figure! there were some bombs dropped on industrial targets that could be considered civilian, in early august, but they were strategic targets. it was late august that they mistakenly bombed london, like you said, then we responded with a raid on berlin and hitler started his blitz.
Goodness, the memories! I remember doing exactly the same thing, lying in the pitiful excuse of a garden in central London and watching the vapour trails of the dogfights going on over my head. I also remember all too well, the wail of the siren and being dragged out of bed into the Anderson which more often than not was under 2" of water, damp, cold and bloody wet - by God those were the days.

Thanks RAF pilots during Battle of Britain! Among British, Polish, Czechs, others. And Polish American pilot Francis "Gabby" Gabreski.

@Ralex004
agreed,
not all germans during ww2 were nazis.
Some actual hated the nazis, but there voices werent heard.
Why? because the nazis blackbagged them before anyone
else could hear the sound of there voice or see there hair color.
